Rude, incompetent, unsympathetic

I have always had very good experiences with the vets here until today, when I saw Kobus with our syrian hamster Rosie. I have never met such a rude, judgemental, unsympathetic & unprofessional person. Today we found Rosie very unwell and took her to the vets immediately. Kobus could not tell us...

This review will be slightly different from the other reviews written about Companion Care, as I do not currently take any of my animals to this vets. However, over the past 5 months, I have done work experience with Companion Care, the Vets situated inside Pets at Home. I basically wrote to all...

Quick and caring

As all vets a bit expensive

Pets at home stores on the surface look and feel pretty much like all other decent pet shops, they have a vast selection of toys and edibles for your favourite friend. They are pleasant and comfortable to browse around and have a general good vibe to them. They do have one advantage compared to...

Wish i could rate this higher due to only one member of staff actually caring about the animals but the main vet has ruined it. My one year old cat went missing on a thursday night. Monday evening I was given a letter by a friend who works at pets at home who after chatting to the receptionist...

I found the number for this vet online and booked an appointment to vaccinate my kitten. However, when I turned up, I was horrified to learn this vet was actually situated at the back of a Pets at Home store. Since I had already managed to drag my struggling kitten this far, I thought it best to...

I have done several reviews on here, regarding my pup Laddie. Mainly on the various food's I've tried him on. I thought it time to review the vet I thought I had settled with, for my pets care. This vet is based inside- usually at the back of the 'pets at home' stores- which sell pets and pet...

I have been using Companion Care on and off for nearly two years now, and I must say they one of the worse vets I have come across. My first experience with them was not a good one. I booked in my new puppy that morning for her vaccinations, and after turning up bang on time, faced a 20 minute...

I took my dog to the vets inside companion care at a branch in Dacorum, Hertfordshire. The vet prescribed an ear cleaner for my dog, of which I asked if it could be purchased elsewhere or was prescription only. I was advised he had not seen it elsewhere, implying it was prescription only. I...

Vets in large store, open 7 days a week

Not one in every town

I have nothing but praise for Pets at Home. On Easter Sunday this year my 21 year old cat started fitting. I could not find a vet that was open or who would come out and was starting to panic seeing her in such a state, so I rang the head office of the RSPCA. They told me there was nothing they...

I just have to write to say that I think Companion care vets are great.I live in worcester where a new one opened in December. They have a special offer on vaccinations at the moment which goes on until February so I'm taking as many cats as I can afford to get half price vaccinations. The vet I...

My labrador Harry had to have a cruciate ligament operation and his vets at Companion Care Cardiff have been more than helpful. After the operation when he came home they told us exactly what his care should be and when we took him back to the surgery to have a check up, the vet came out to the car to treat him rather than have Harry walk over shiny floors in case he might slip. They did this several times until his recovery was complete. Poor Harry has had other medical problems and both vets have come up trumps in caring for him. I can't recommend them highly enough. You can rest assured your pet will be treated with respect and T.L.C.

I was out walking with my Husky/gsd cross when he slowed down and refused to walk (it was a very hot day), I managed to coaxe him to a friends house where he laid and panted for over an hour. My parnter collected us and took us home in the car. The following day I went to Companion care where my...
