This is one of the best strategy games I've played since the C&C series. The story line is very gripping and from what I know, it's quite accurate to the real turn of events - although I never studied very far into this part of the war, it was more like they landed on the beach, and that was it! if your a fan of real time strategy or ww2 games this is a must buy! graphicaly its up there with the best, providing you have the capable software and even if your graphics cards arent up to date it should still run smoothly with slightly less detail, however this doesnt detach from the enjoyment that can be had. Company of Heroes is an RTS like no other - its an RTS with tactics. Unlike many RTS games it isnt a simple case of bashing each other with big sticks like age of empires or a swamped, confused melee like Dawn of War. CoH is a great game if your looking for realism and gameplay as it requires thought and planning in order to win, you cant put infantry up against tanks and let them shoot it out, neither can you leave tanks unproteced from artillery. ... One of best games released in recent times, many others have tried to create a war simulation strategy game and this simply blows everything before it out of the water. I was given this game for christmas; i could not have asked for a better game. I am an experienced RTS player, but this has go to be my favourite. It came with a free copy of Dawn of War, which, when you add the expansion packs, becomes an excellent game.
