Sporting powerful Intel Pentium 4 or Celeron processors, performance ATI graphics, and large capacity hard drives, the Evo Notebook N1000v provides customers the performance they need at an affordable price. The Evo Notebook N1000v offers a superb balance of performance and value, packing all of the features and multimedia capabilities necessary for day-to-day productivity in a stylish all-in-one design. The ATI Mobility Radeon 7500 graphics controller handles the most demanding 2D and 3D graphics applications. The Evo Notebook N1000v also provides an S-video port for crisp image projection to a television, and a 1394 port for high-speed video transfer. It incorporates USB 2.0, the latest USB standard, offering an interface, which is 40 times faster than USB 1.1. This allows connection to USB peripherals for high-speed data transfer. The Evo Notebook N1000v makes it easy to stay connected with the industry standard integrated Mini-PCI modem (V.92) and integrated NIC. Optional wireless connectivity is provided through the MultiPort or PC Card devices. MultiPort provides notebook users with integrated wireless capability in a way that delivers optimal performance, flexibility to upgrade to new technologies and, today, choice of 802.11b Wireless LAN or Bluetooth MultiPort modules. The Evo Notebook N1000v sophisticated design has integrated features like a soft-touch surface for wrist comfort, 4-way Internet scroll and front speaker location for optimum sound quality. It also has a contour door on the back of the system to protect ports and connectors, as well as making it comfortable to carrying in your hand. The Evo Notebook N1000v supports Compaq's new line of affordable common expansion solutions for a wide range of user needs. The Port Replicator provides basic replication of the Evo Notebook N1000v system ports plus it incorporates NIC pass-through and additional ports not found on the Evo Notebook N1000v system. The Advanced Port Replicator delivers a cost-effective no compromise desktop-functionality solution. It provides the same cable management features as the Port Replicator, but also includes an integrated MultiBay and an optional monitor stand.
