    WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY ENTIRE LIFE AND STILL UNRESOLVED 11 MONTHS ON! I spent nearly £3000 on a top of the range custom computer and have gone through hell and back with Computer Planet! Under no circumstances even consider buying a computer from this company. I am the most reasonable and fair person you are likely to meet and Computer Planet took complete advantage of that fact from day one.     I ordered the PC from Computerplanet at the start of Feb, it took them until the middle of March to get the machine to me. When it arrived they had installed the wrong version of windows, causing me to reinstall it, one of the fans was connected backwards... Now these were things I could solve, and did so. However other issues popped up, an error in vista that I've never come up against at all (BSOD whenever 4gb of ram was installed until a software patch was released, granted, that was a Microsoft problem, but it would have been nice for CP to inform me of this issue and supply the patch on a ... more

    *Note: This is not really a review, just a comment and my experiences with them* I wont go into much detail. But I'l explain my experience with computer planet. I stumbled upon compputerplanet.co.uk after spending hours and hours looking for the right computer which would suit me. I mainly do audio production, so for me choosing the right computer was essential.     I have been buying high price items since 1969, custom built computers since 1985 and running my own business for the last 13 1/2yrs. I buy from national and international companies and am a registered importer and buying from Computer Planet was without a doubt my worst buying experience ever. I have previously had 6 computers made every one has arrived in 2 weeks or less and worked perfectly straight out of the box.     I spent 3 weeks looking for a company to build my custom built PC solution. I found a few companies and narrowed it down to 2 one being computer planet. I wanted someone to build me a gaming PC which will last me for the next few years and play my favourite game crysis!! My budget 3000 pounds.     I had my doubts about buying from CP after reading all the negative reviews on forums such as this, but remember "A happy customer tells 2 friends, a unhappy customer tells 10!" With this in mind I decided to give Computer Planet a chance. So how did my order go?!?!     Computer planet has been without a doubt the worst buying experience of any product i have bought, EVER! the only reason it got one star is because i couldn't give it none. If i was a member of their staff i would feel uttlery ashamed of working for them. They might as well all be wearing black ski masks and striped black and white jumpers while they're putting their pc's together.     Couldn't decide if i should built my own or if I should have it built. I picked up a copy of custom PC and started reading. I priced up all the parts I wanted on a few sites, scan.co.uk and a few others..price came out at £700 and was paying for delivery from 4 different sites. I looked at pcspecialists and computerplanet.co.uk.
