Advantages: Sold my house at asking price Disadvantages: I don't receive service like that everyday
Moving house is said to be one of the three most stressful things you can do,(besides bereavement and divorce). The last thing you want or need from your estate agents then is bad service, incompetence or inability to do the job.
Fortunately for me, I got none of these. The estate agents we chose to sell our flat a few months ago I could not praise highly enough.

We found the Stopsley branch of Connells in Luton to be run by Disorganised cowboys! They are Unreliable! If you want anything done you have to chase them! Their office smells! Staff look scruffy. I would reccomend Avoiding like the plague! Because of the following reasons:
1) Promised to come around with a photographer when he brought the papers to sign, didn't happen.
2)four days later we had to chase them up to get the 'photographer' to take ...

My wife and I found Connells in Stopsley to be run very efficiently with great communication and advise. We had previously been buying a property through another company and when our purchase fell through we had to find again very quickly. Connells helped by keeping my buyer well advised of latest developements which held my sale together, giving us time to find a suitable property (through Connells). Once again we were involved in quite a complicated chain which is where we found Connells after sales/progression superb keeping the whole chain advised of latest developements. Overall Connells Stopsley has a young dynamic team which we would thoroughly reccommend.

I decided to sell my flat a couple of years ago. I approached several estate agents, all giving varying valuations. Many of them pricing the flat not much more than I paid for it.
