I replaced the original manufacturer fit Bridgestones (Potenza RE040), which I felt were poor, with these Continentals. The car to which they are fitted is an Audi A4 Avant (1.9 DTI 130) and they are the standard 205/55 R 16 W size for that model, on the standard Audi 16" alloys. I noticed an immediate improvement in grip both in wet and dry conditions, but particularly in the wet, though some of that will naturally be due to replacing tyres which were worn to 2-3 mm by brand new ones.
