Slice With Ease :)

AdvantagesDesign, sharp blades, easy to use, works great, long lasting.

DisadvantagesNone

"...The Price == I purchased this Cookworks Electric Knife from Argos for around £15 a few years ago, however looking at their website now, Argos are selling it at the lower price of £9.50. Argos however are not offering delivery for this item, only collection from their store. Amazon are selling this Electric Knife at a considerably higher price of £25.90, which is actually a lot higher than the retail price a few years ago! Homebase are also selling ..." Read review

Fast and Noisy

Advantagesslices evenly, nice design

Disadvantagesnoisy, moves fast

"...electric knife in my kitchen. ===APPEARANCE=== The Cookworks electric knife is pretty much standard, there are two models but I have the chrome finish one that has the handle stick up at the top. It comes with two blades and has a power switch on the top of it as well. It has the Cookworks logo at the side and it also comes with an instruction manual so that you know what to do. It explains that the knife comes with two types of blade and that it ..." Read review

Not Really Worth The Drawer Space!

AdvantagesReasonably priced, fine if you do lots of carving!

DisadvantagesNoisy motor and not of much use to me!

"Review of the Cookworks Electric Carving Knife. I purchased this electric carving knife just before Christmas 2010. The knife was bought to replace an old Molyneux model that my late mother had owned for years. Personally I wouldn't actually bother with an electric knife, but Mum was insistent that we needed one during the festive season for carving the Christmas meats. Being a good daughter, I did not argue with my Mum! ==The Knife== The Cookworks ..." Read review

Slicing my way through beef, quick sharp!

AdvantagesEasy to use, quick to set up, works well, cheap price, reasonable flex.

DisadvantagesNone.

"...use out of them. This Cookworks electric knife was actually given to me by my mother when she was moving house, wanting to travel light, and I believe that she paid around £8 or £9 for this a number of years ago, possibly in excess of five, and from looking online I can see that this is available in chrome for around £15.00 now. The version that I have is the white one pictured. This knife is ..." Read review

Cookworks Electric Knife......

AdvantagesEasy to use, cuts well, a well priceed item, durable

DisadvantagesTher blades could be a little more dense

"...for a change and the Cookworks model was soon sat in my kitchen and waiting to be used. I think you can get the knife from other Electrical retailers as well as online from Amazon for about the same price. The knife came packaged in a cardboard box and I suggest you do have a little look at this because my knife came with no instruction booklet. I appreciate that it is quite self-explanatory to use the knife, there is the main attachment followed ..." Read review

A precise slice

AdvantagesEasy to use, good value, sharp blades

DisadvantagesNone for me

"...new model. I bought this Cookworks electric knife from my local Argos store last year and paid £9.50 which is a good price for an electric knife as you can pay a great deal more than this. It is quite a plain basic design but it is sturdy and durable. It is white and grey and there is a large handle for you to grab hold of the knife. The long thin blades are stainless steel and are dishwasher safe and are serrated down the one side which you ..." Read review

Cookworks Electric Knife

AdvantagesWell priced, works well, safe, easy to use

DisadvantagesNone really

"...so we went for the Cookworks Electric Knife which we found in the Argos catalogue for £9.99. It is available in white and chrome, though the chrome version is a couple of pounds more expensive. The knife basically consists of a large, plastic base unit which is the handle of the knife and a long, quite thin blade at the end of the knife. The knife is long enough to cut through an entire joint and features stainless steel blades. It does state ..." Read review

Make light work

AdvantagesPrice. Safe. Secure. Effective blades.

DisadvantagesNone really.

" The Cookworks Chrome Electric Knife is a product I have owned for about a year. I bought it after I had to replace my previous electric knife because the blade kept coming loose and obviously this isn't great from a health and safety perspective! I mostly use my electric knife to cut bread into slices and also to carve meat and I just find that using an electric knife makes both of these tasks less cumbersome and considerably quicker. The Cookworks ..." Read review
