Corsodyl Original Mouthwash

I've recently found myself suffering from 'itchy' gums for several days now and the 'it will go away on it's own' theory is seriously not working! Having tried various different approaches of ridding this annoyance from TCP to bonjela I opted to try Corsodyl on the recommendation of several people including good ole' mum. I'm not a big fan of mouthwashes generally, but found Dentyl to leave my mouth feeling fresh so up to press have been using this. A recent visit to my dentist resulted in me being prescribed Corsodyl, a strong aniseed flavoured mouthwash containing the antibacterial agent Chlorhexidine. I'm not sure how much a bottle costs, as I don't pay for my prescriptions, although a quick look online show that it seems to be about 4.70 for a 300ml bottle. I'd like to point out that while you can buy this in a chemist without a prescription, it is an over-the-counter medication. I first tried this mouthwash when I had to go to my dentist as an emergency patient because I had a cracked tooth problem and I had a very bad infection under the tooth and the gums were inflamed and my dentist gave me a prescription for this product and I am pleased he introduced me to this one. It is available over the counter at chemists and can be bought in supermarkets.
