Taste:
I have tasted the savory. It was tasty, sugarfree. That is the important aspect which attracted me. In normal biscuits and rusks there are some sugar added. Until age of one, it is not advisable to feed high amount salt and sugar to the baby. It would taste like wheat biscuit without salt or sugar.

Disadvantages:
When baby chews, it breaks, so it is not advisable to leave the baby alone with the finger. Different receipes using savoury finger
You could try these for quickly and occasionally 1. Take an apple or pears , cut into pieces and boil for 10 minutes .Then blend it with the blender. Add to savoury finger with some milk. Very tasty and healthy. Your baby gets carbohydrates from wheat in the ...

The health visitor suggested trying Cow and Gate biscuits instead of Farley’s Rusks as they contain less sugar. ...what they look like anyway. Cow and Gate Baby and Toddler Biscuits are my lifesaver. I always said that I'd never give my baby snacks, and if I did definitely not anything sweet. Well, as I write this my 8 month son is sitting eating what looks like a Dog Biscuit. Although they do have added sugar they contain 5 different cereals and therefore at least a little bit nutrious. My son loves these. They are the perfect size for baby fingers to hold and go soft very quickly in the nouth, reducing the risk of choking. I was also very pleased to find that they do not crumble, unlike many Rusks, meaning that I am left ...

What was I feeding my baby?
When my Son Mitchell (now 16 months) started eating solids I was over the moon. He took to eating really well and I had no trouble. I started off giving him Baby rice, he really enjoyed is bless him. As time went on and he got older i started to use the Cow and Gate Jars. His favorite was the "Sunday Lunch". For about 3 months Mitchell was having these jars ... ...this?
When We phoned Cow and Gate to warn them about this product that we had brought they just simply asked us our name and address, asked us the jar expiry date, jar ref number and brand. And told us to send it in to them so that it can be observed. Offering us their Appologies
To this day we have not heard anything about the jar, I have written numerous letter's but not heard anything. They obviously got us to send the jar to them before we could ...

Cow and Gate baby food is what I have used for the past four months when going out to friends houses, shops etc. It has such a varied range, for example Fisherman's Pie, Rosemary with Lamb, Chicken Casserole. Desserts include Rice pudding, Banana delight and my favourite chocolate pudding.
It is not made from GM foods. Contains no artificial colours, flavours, no added salt or preservatives and is gluten free.

The only downside is when the tin of jar is opened it can be stored for forty eight hours in a suitable container. At times the food can become rather runny when this is done. ...

Advantages: Authentic taste, convenient for travelling Disadvantages: A bit too watery. The lumps in the 7 month varieties are a bit too large for a baby with very few teeth
...you have actually tasted the Cow & Gate range, you will be as impressed as you possibly could be if someone forced a spoonful of watery, brown slop into your mouth.

The Cow and Gate range comes in three age groups: The first is from 4 months and is ideal for when your baby is being weaned and is ready to explore a range of new tastes. The next step up is from 7 months, when maybe your baby’s first teeth have begun to come through, their appetites have increased and they are ready to develop chewing skills. This range has small pieces of meat, vegetables and pasta buried in the sludge, which they ...

...i'm a huge fan of Cow & gate products (for baby of course, not me personally). When I came across the new range of biscuits for babies and toddlers, I just had to buy them!

Advantages: easy for babies to hold Disadvantages: can get messy
These biscuits are in a foil packet inside a cardboard box. The box says from 8 months but I fed them to my baby slightly earlier as she was ready for finger food.
The shape of the biscuits look like dog biscuits to me. They are designed so that small hands can grip them easily. (some other brands are a bit more difficult for babies to hold)
Each biscuit has "cow & gate" on it and what looks like an ear of corn.
They are made with six cereals ... ...with calcium, iron and vitamins.
This is partly why I like these biscuits as at least there is goodness in them.
The biscuits seem to melt a bit in the mouth , but still don't leave baby alone whilst eating them. If like my baby the baby puts the biscuit in the mouth takes it out, turns it round etc they can be a bit messy.

I discovered these biscuits at my local chemist, where they cost £1 for a large box. For some reason they are slightly more expensive in the supermarkets, around £1.34. This seems to make them better value than rusks as you get about 35 small biscuits in a pack.

...a picky one but with Cow & Gate Creamed Porridge and the other breakfast cereals we are on a winner all the way!
The main bonus in this breakfasts range is the flavour. I have tried various 4 months foodstuffs and some of the flavours are at best shockable. My baby's favorite is Creamed Porridge. It is a lovely vitamin enriched first food with a mild cinamon taste. I always try my baby's food myself (mostly when im testing the temperature) and i personally find it very nice!
Its easy to make up, and easy to adjust the amount and consistancy to suit your own baby.
But my favorite plus is that i can stew my own fruit (mostly pear and apple) and pop it in as well, thereby ...

As i sit here writing this i have just fed my 7 and a half month old daughter her dinner.
