...This is where the Cowon is worth the high money you spent on it. I’ve only ever purchased two very expensive things and that’s after about two years of deliberating, this is one of them. 1) You get a docking station. It too is finished with a metal look to suit the mp3 itself. It’s absolutely tiny, mind you it’s only a stand right? Wrong! It’s got four ports on the back. One charger, one line out which comes supplied with a cable with a mini headphones ...
...of sticky plastic? Well thankfully Cowon have and they’ve even given you a backup in case one comes off/gets dirty etc. It’s these little things that make it so great 5) You even get spare plugs for the connector at the bottom of the unit. I will admit this was a bit annoying as I’ve never been a fan of these. What if I lose the rubber plug? Well doesn’t matter anyway, I’m safe and even if I do lose it I’ve got a backup. This is one amazing machine. It is small light and very very stylish with a metal casing finished in metalic colours (mine is gunmetal grey). I have is the 20Gb version but there is a 40Gb one with the same physical size. A real shame to hide it in a pocket - it's far more stylish than ALL competitors - but then the tiny in-line remote with screen makes it un-neccessary to take the machine from the pocket to change channels or tracks - or to turn ...
...remote includes a clip to attach to a collar or pocket. The FM radio is a boon but reception can be iffy as you move around because the aerial is the cabling. The remote is a bit fiddly for we more elderly people but the small screen is amazingly easy to read without reading specs! But then the remote doesn't always properly adjust volume - or I haven't yet mastered it! I unfortunately broke the supplied earphones.(my fault) They were very good ...

The initial thing that drew me to this mp3 player is the sleek style and the fact that it has a remote with screen which the ipod does not have, so to change tracks you don't need to take the player out of your pocket. I love this little mp3 player. Really sleek and the main body is made from high grade metal which is a lot more scratch proof than plastic. What makes this device special is it's separate remote control that can clip on to your clothes while the main body sits in your pocket and still gives you full control of the main device. It's price vs capacity is excellent and as well as playing music, it can display .txt files and be used as a portable hard ...
