...I've haven't mentioned but when crackdown hit the shelf you wouldn't have been forgiven thinking that this game cannot compete with the "big" titles. ...be faulted. But it causes Crackdown to be slightly overlooked. This is a shame because Crackdown probably belongs next to Gears of War as the 360’s must have title. Though the game looks nice and for the most part moves well I find this game some what boring. I know I may be berated for saying so but it is a little tedious in my opinion. If you like the GTA titles then you will probably enjoy this as it is similar in some ways but it does have a few nice touches, but also a few things missing to really get the game a good mark from myself. ...first "Gta-alike" on the 360, Crackdown was a hot prospect, and rightly so, its a right laugh. Based over 3 main islands, you are "genetically enhanced law enforceer", in other words a superhero. Starting out as a relatively ordinary character, your only noticeable trait is the ability to jump a bit higher than a normal person. Having had the advantage of knowing one of the main game developers involved with this game I was eager to try it once I knew it was out on release. An absolute riot of a game, no rules and a huge city to roam around killing gang members with powerful weapons and vehicles. This sounds very good but the story in actual fact isnt very good at all.
