    This game has got to be my favourite childhood game. This Naughty dog production was made very popular when it was first released onto the Sony Playstation. In my opinion it clearly outcompeted its rival; Mario Kart on the Nintendo 64. As with all cartoon games it has the classic storyline of defeating a boss character to save the world from total annihilation. In this game it is a Nitros Oxide character that threats planet Earth.     After buying Crash Team Racing, I was still a bit sceptical about the game. I had seen several magazine reviews, which highly rated it, but I thought I had seen it all before. Cartooney graphics, 'cute' characters, tinny music and playability which lasted several hours. So I started off, choosing the main,'Adventure' section, which places you on "N. Sanity Beach", one of several worlds. The aim of the game is to win cups, tokens and relics by completeing various tasks.     Advantages Advantages great 4-player action, good graphics, good sound and a wide range of tracks

    The graphics are really good in this game loads of colour and action; flames as your speed boosters activate, and big flashey explosions when someone gets smacked with a missle. Every track is different. Some are indoor, some have tight corners, buckets of bright green posion to fall into. Outdoor tracks have an ice, skiddy region to make the polar bear feel at home. The characters are very different from each other but there is the familiar faces popping up again- Crash, Neo Cortex, Coco and crash's girle girlfriend.     Advantages Advantages Lots of tracks, different types of races, fluid graphics.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Like most "driving" games may get boring after a while

    This is a very good game featuring the characters from the Crash Bandicoot Series. It is very much along the lines of Super Mario Cart for the Super Nintendo. The graphics are very cutesy and will appeal to everyone from hardened games players to young children. There are a lot of tracks and different game modes. As well as your usual cups and 2-3-4 player races there is a mode called Adventure in which you drive round various worlds competing in different types of races (with different bonuses to collect).     Here is another game featuring the famous Crash Bandicoot, who appeared in all the Crash games. Now comes a racing game which is a great buy. The game features all of the characters from the crash games and several different tracks and weapons. The variety is good and will keep you going for ages. The graphics are the same as all the other crash games, which is excellent. The sounds are cool aswell, my favourite being "Ungabunga" which is said when you use the protective mask which stops you getting hit, it is like a sort of invincibility.     Crash Team Racing (CTR) is the fourth game in the popular action series, but features kart racing rather than 3D platform hopping. It features eight playable characters (plus hidden ones) from the Crash world such as Coco, Tiny, Dr. Cortex, and Crash himself. Each racer has his or her own attributes in handling, top speed, and acceleration.     THE best ever racing game on the PS1 to date! Power slides, empowering wumpa fruit, speed boosts and enough weoponry to sink the titanic by sheer weight! I love this game as it fulfills every avid PS1 gamers expectations and more for a comical racing game. It is quite an old game and does not massacre all the third generation console games, especially not in graphics, but i believe that Crash Team Racing will live on as a classic in the eyes of many as it has brought great hours and enjoyment to those very eyes.     What a game! I have been pining for a Playstation version of Mario Carts for years and CTR is even better. The adventure section is full of variety and takes about the right time to complete - there is enough in it to maintain your interest and is not that easy. The Relic Races are thouroughly enjoyable and are a lot of sneaky short cuts to discover. The mulit-player arcade races are very addictive and if you have a multi-controller, could prove endless fun for all ages.     Advantages Advantages Is an enjoyable fun game that is great to play on your own, but even better with mates

    From the moment I first played this game on a demo, I knew it was game I wanted to buy. Perhaps slightly too many comparisons can be drawn between it and the SNES's Super Mario Kart too applaud the orginality of the designers and programmers, but let's face it-Super Mario Kart was the greatest game on that format. Many people have found in the past that the Crash games all suffered from a common problem, that is too easy a difficulty level and the same applies here.     This is a brillint game. Fun tracks - Fun cars - Fun charictors - FUN GAME. Disney racer came out this year and it is a total copy of this game. The race order is the same with the same style of writing just a different colour. CRASH= collect weapons, collect apples to make them better. DISNEY= collect weapons, mickey faces make them better. The controles for both the games are the same to. I new the controls for disney before i had a practice. Dont get disney get crash. A lot more fun!!!!! fun fun fun fun and mor fun ... more
