    Advantages Advantages good quality, fun, cheap, durable

    When looking at a product like this, it could be assumed that they are for younger children. They are coloured pencils that are cheap and cool and perfect for kids to have fun colouring with. But, hey - twistables are for everybody! I used these at high school and they were great. I originally bought them for art class, but soon I was using them at any time - for quick doodles, writing on posters and for when I drew and coloured in my spare time.     I have a confession. At 23, I still love to colour. Okay, so I don't exactly bust out the Dora the Explorer books, but I like those books of patterns. It's relaxing. Mostly I like to colour when I'm on long plane journeys or otherwise bored. (Those who have seen the Sex and the City movie are probably sniggering about now). Every avid colourer knows that the choice between crayon, pencil crayon and felt tip is an important one. Sure you get better control with a felt tip, but they can run out halfway through a pattern. Pencil crayons are good, but you need to sharpen them, and they're no good ... more

    I have always loved Crayola. It does not matter what art and craft item I was getting, as long as it was Crayola I was going to be happy! Luckily my siblings are pretty much the same way so they have various Crayola kits and sets. They have the Crayola Twistables too, which were not really around when I was a child so needless to say I was keen to use these. Intrigued, I set to work trying to find out if these were as good as they were made out to be... The Twistables come in a yellow packet, as do the other Crayola drawing goodies.
