SEGA has always made great consoles, and stunning games to go on them, now they can really concentrate on the games, and Crazy Taxi 2 seems to be the way they are heading.
If you don’t know, Crazy Taxi is pretty obviously the follow up to Crazy Taxi. That was originally an arcade game ported to Dreamcast, and more recently to Playstation 2. It was massively popular, with the aim being ... ...it” formula, SEGA has made Crazy Taxi 2 a masterpiece of a fun game. It is better than its predecessor in every way, and that can only be a good thing. The aim remains to bomb round the cities (New York this time) and get as much cash as you can. However there have been one or two little changes that do make it significantly different from Crazy taxi 1. A new move has been added, and the bonus challenges section has been totally overhauled. ...

...doesn?t sound too appealing, but Crazy Taxi 2 proves everyone wrong. Crazy Taxi 1 was a great success and has been converted to PS2 and Gamecube to prove it. If Crazy Taxi 2 lived up to its older brother, then it would be a good a game as any on the Dreamcast. Crazy Taxi 2 has an improved game structure, meaning that it doesn?t let you play the arcade modes until you have completed key parts of the training. ...extremely fun? I think not. Crazy Taxi 2 is the sequel to an acclaimed title which was one of the star releases for the Dreamcast, by Sega. Both Crazy Taxi and Crazy Taxi 2(CT&CT2 from now on) are made by Sega and both feature highly addictive and enjoyable gameplay, and yes, your mother won't mind. What truly separates these two titles? Advantages: Cool graphics, funny modes, Crazy! Disadvantages: might be short lived.
...me. But then that isn’t crazy taxi, the funniest driving game ever. Instead of just being exactly what I said before crazy taxi lets you do so much more. But this is the sequel, with more fun, craziness and above all addictiveness. What makes Crazy taxi 2 so different from the first mouth-watering game is the way they realized what was wrong and how they added new things to make it a whole new experience. What made the old game special? What ... ...new manoeuvre that is the crazy hop, where you leap off of the ground and go flying over the traffic, which gets you a big tip. The downside is that you cannot control the cab in mid air and you might hit the walls on many occasions.
The best change is probably the way you can now pick up groups of people as well as individuals, which is great fun. Picking up a group of mime artists or Cheerleaders is very amusing indeed. You get quite a big amount ...

Everyone loves Crazy Taxi. It was the best selling game last year than anything else on the Dreamcast. The first had it all graphics, tunes, gameplay and now that the sequal is out it is time to start saving your money to buy Crazy Taxi 2. A good thing for all those hard to learn game people is that Crazy Taxi 2 has just the same controls as the last game. Everything from the last game has been included in the new one. Crazy Dashes, Crazy Drifts ... ...in it like instead of Crazy San Francisco it is Crazy New York. New York has been split up into two maps which are called Around apple (being the bigger map) and small apple (being the smaller map.) The former is on a larger scale than the latter, basically, with outlying suburbs of the city to visit, and even a bridge over the Hudson river. ...if they are entertaining. However Crazy Taxi 2 is such an accurate port from arcade to Dreamcast that ot has turned into a heap of frustrating rubbish.Each game lat far too short a time which although ok in an arcade (Money grabbing) is not very entertaining.
If you own the first Crazy Taxi then keep your money in your pocket and avoid this game.
The game consist of driving round a large city picking up passangers in your taxi and taking them to ... ...the origonal game.
I had a few friends round for a beer the other night and the game was played quite extensively in an enviroment where it was enjoyed but is not for individual games players.
Worth a purchase if you dont have the first crazy taxi . ...

Advantages: Crazy, Fun, OFFSPRING!!!! Disadvantages: Soundtrack not as good as original but still good
After the big success of Crazy Taxi, it's no suprise that there was a sequel, more of the same but bigger, better and crazier than ever, the only problem with it is the soundtrack isn't as good as the original, but that's a matter of taste.
So, to get the most important part over with, we ask 'Is it worth buying this if I have the original?', well to the average gamer I'd say no, but if you loved the original then this is better. One new feature ... ...nearly every level of the crazy pyramid (similar to the cray box on the original).
The soundtrack is still good, and still has an Offspring song, Come Out Swinging. There are two vehicles I have unlocked via the crazy pyramid, I think there's a third but I can't do the last level...I'll update this when I major to beat it.
The graphics are brilliant, whilst looking good, they are also crazy and fun, so like the original, this is a great game to ...

Advantages: Superb graphics and sound, out on the DC before the PS2 owners can gloat ;-) Disadvantages: some slowdown (not a lot though)
It landed on my doormat today, but i`m not entirely sure it`s as fun as
the original - there`s the occasional drop in frame rate, it`s crashed on me once (I was jammed up against a tree, the screen went grey, and I couldn`t move away from it, but I could at least quit out of the game without rebooting).
...And the "crazy hop" feature... hmmm... not sure if i`m keen on it really - there doesn`t seem to be any way to get some passengers to their ... ...feature makes it harder, and some of the antics in the back of the cab will have you laughing out loud :-)
The "city" also seems to be a lot more "restricted" for space, but maybe i`m being picky... I only played the original for a week on hire, but it definitely seemed more "open plan" than CT2...
The graphics and sound are as good as the first one, but while i`m not disappointed with it, it doesn`t seem quite as instantly playable, and the "crazy ...

...a film in the making. Crazy Taxi 1+2 on Sega's sadly dying console the Dreamcast. By playing this you take on the role of (yes you've guessed it) a crazy taxi driver. Who is out to earn a living. If you think that sound boring then go out a buy it NOW!
Position 2 is the cute small hedgehog created by Sega Sonic Adventure 2. This isn't his first appearance and lets hope it's not his last on any console.
