Excellent 56K External Modem

Installation was a breeze, connect to your serial port, insert CD-ROM, done. Advantagescheap and easy to install

Disadvantageshave to buy 3rd party software to use as a phone.

"A few years ago, Creative said that it was withdrawing from the modem market to concentrate on audio and video. Bit of an about turn this one. The Modem Blaster is certainly a very smart looking piece of kit, ( bit like an ioniser though ). Nothing exceptional, apart from the appearance however. It has a serial interface and therefore needs an external power supply, unlike its USB brother. It has microphone and speaker jacks, so could be used ..." Read review
