I have had many speaker / subwoofer packages in my time and I have to say that this one has proven to rate somewhere in the middle. One thing this product rates highly on is the power of the subwoofer. It provides a huge amount of base, enough to stand even a song such as Protection by Massive Attack (Which I use a general benchmark). The Creative Inspire T3100 speakers, are a great addition to any PC or laptop. They have suberb sound quality, and allow users to experience whatever they are viewing on their laptop. Im very impressed with these being only a 2.1 Kit. I've always had 5.1 speakers but never took advange of these extra 3 speakers, this was brought for me as a present This was really easy to setup took me 5mins and the sound is excellent considering there is only two speakers and a subwoofer. £37.50 from PC world, absolute bargain, the sound quality is extremely impressive. The bass response from the solid wooden sub--woofer is adjustable, so you can blow your neighbours away if you wish. Watch out for the mains plug - as the DC unit is built into the plug it is extra large - it would not go next to any other plug on a mains strip I use for my PC - so had to run another power strip just to take this mains unit.
