Advantages: Better than an iPod.
Disadvantages: Ugly looks?

Creative are definetely making the real alternatives to getting an iPod. This mp3 player is smart, stylish but slightly dull looks. More complicated controls than an iPod but probably more what you're used to on a walkman or similar device. Good build quality, great playlist features and suprisingly lightweight. I have used this for 3 months now nearly every day on the commute to work and it has never let me down. The headphones get a bit uncomfortable ... Read review
