After much research and mind boggling info, i decided to purchase the Nomad for my husband's b day pressie. And I am so glad I did. It is much more reasonably priced than the ipod, perhaps a few functions less, but who cares. While it may be bigger than the Ipod it is much cheaper, both being due to it using a larger, cheaper hard drive. Comes in 30 or 60gb capacity, but to be honest 30 is big enough for most needs. Mine now contains over 3000 tracks, yet is only just over half full. The scroll wheel makes locating music easy and the software is user friendly and simple. Sound quality is perfect, although would recommend buying some better headphones than the ones provided. ... Read review

This is an outstanding product, at a fraction of the price of Ipod. The Ipod has recieved a lot of attention, yet this is a far better alternative. The storage is enough for 7,500 songs, which should be plenty for anybody's needs, and the player itself is stylish, and comes with a carry case. I have had my Jukebox Zen for the past year, and I have two problems with it. The first is that it is too big, and the second is that it crashes occasionally. The latter is most likely due to the fact that I dropped it. The Jukebox Zen is not very robust or durable, but it can withstand some major damage, so I give it a average score on durability. I purchased a Creative Zen MP3 Player at Christmas - And it was the best thing I've ever done - I wouldnt be without it now.I can carry my whole music collection with me wherever I go!
