I have owned a Creative ZEN 32gb mp3 player for approximately a year - previous to this I had a much older creative zen which lasted well until it was finally drowned in a deluge of water. As such I was veering towards buying another zen due to my previous positive experiences. In my opinion the Zen creative is a great alternative to an i-pod. Personally I would rather not use i-tunes as I find it zaps the processing power of my computer so having an mp3 player that doesn't require the apple software is great. Creative Labs have always been living in the shadow of the mighty apple, but this does not mean that their product is inferior. In reality, it is just the opposite. Sadly, Creative have been bullied out of the mass mp3 player market before they could unleash a jack-of-all-trades style mp3 player with a phone, internet access, power doors, toaster, etc. However, if you are looking for a music player that plays music, then look no further. I don't own this kind of player, but i had the opportunity to test it and i found it's characteristics most suitable. The quality of the sound is good and the storage capacity is satisfactory. The biggest minus of this device is the price. All and all, a good product but too expensive for it's features ...
