Clean hands were ever you are

AdvantagesClean hands where ever you are, cheap to buy, handy size for carrying around

DisadvantagesThe smell

"...and purchased three bottles of Cuticura Hand Hygiene Gel. PACKAGING AND OTHER INFO The Cuticra hand gel cost £1.28 per bottle and it is available in two sizes, one being the 100ml bottle which I bought and the other sized bottle is much bigger, I picked the smaller botlle as it would be easier to carry around, especially as the kids would be carrying it around in their school bags . The bottle is see through which is handy to keep an eye on how ..." Read review

Clean Hands the Cuticura Way

AdvantagesCleans your hands without drying them out

DisadvantagesThis may lead to over worrying about hand hygiene

"I have always been a clean person especially where hygiene is concerned; having 2 children means that I always have wipes in the house and I take wipes out with me. I like to be able to clean my hands when I feel it is necessary. With wet wipes the packs are large which meant I had to find a suitable container or bag to take only a few, as I don't like carry a lot around with me, and the travel size packs of wipes are in my opinion are overpriced. ..." Soap and water? Not for me!

Advantagesno water needed, no towel, kills 99.9% of Bacteria, small

Disadvantagesnone i can think of

"...this product, I'd never encountered Cuticura and so I was a bit wary of buying it as I'd never even heard the name of the company before. So I decided to do a bit of detective work and as in any of my typical reviews I have included a bit of background information on the company behind the product. CUTICURA? I was quite surprised to find out that Cuticura date all the way back to 1865 - a whopping 140 years old! They are an American company that ..." Read review

No water no towels just germ free hands Review with images

AdvantagesNo need for water

DisadvantagesNone

"...the front which clearly says Cuticura Anti Bacterial Citrus Hand Hygiene Gel. A label on the back that has all the instructions and ingredients on it. It does contain alcohol. ~ Cost ~ You can gat it from Tescos for 78p for a 100ml bottle but most supermarkets do sell it. ~ Overall Verdict ~ A big thumbs up, I would rate it 10 out of 10 for effectiveness and ease. No matter what situation you may be in, from out doors to working on ..." Read review

Not ranked No.1 on my list, but a good 2nd.

AdvantagesDoes it's job. Quite good value compared to other brands.

DisadvantagesA bit drying, and a little runny.

"A whole range of anti-bacterial gels have suddenly appeared on the shelves now and this is obviously one of them. This is a relatively unknown brand to me - I think I only bought this as this was more or less one of the cheaper ones out of the more seemingly competent ones [the ones with the most claims :o) ]. There is definitely a use for these. As a regular user of hand wipes, I have always found it awkward with having to deal with the used ..." Read review

Clean hands without using water this must be magic! lol Review with images

AdvantagesEffective, saves time, the bottle lasts quite a while

DisadvantagesNone

"...quite a cool design, the Cuticura label is surrounded with varying intensities of blue and a fancy silver line wisps down across it. The writing on the front is clear and the writing on the back is also clear "until half way down the bottle" then it gets slightly harder to see. The lid is blue and it is quite easy to open but shuts very securely meaning that none will leak if you do decide to take it anywhere with you. Particularly Specified Things ..." Read review

Hands up!

Advantageskills 99.99% of bacteria

Disadvantagesnone

"...hands with the antibacterial gel. Package ------------- The Cuticura Hand Hygiene Gel comes in a transparent plastic bottle. Its size is perfect I can put it in my pocket or in my bag. I have a lot of them and I always have at least one with me. The bottle contains 100 ml transparent gel. The plastic bottle is recyclable and it doesnít break if you let it fall (my sons tested it lol). It is available also in larger bottle of 250 ml. The transparent ..." Read review

Gel up them hands!

Advantagesnot expensive

Disadvantagesnone really

"Cuticura Ė Hand Hygiene Gel As I am currently pregnant and really donít want to get the flu I decided to try and protect myself a bit with using a hand gel which would kill any germs on it. It meant that when I was out and about I could discretely use the gel and not have to wash my hands (as it is not always possible). I found this hand hygiene gel in one of the chemists on offer for £1 so I thought I really didnít have anything to lose ..." Read review

Convenient Cleansing

AdvantagesKills the really bad bugs, useful when you cant wash your, smells good

DisadvantagesDoesn't do well at remove grease or dirt

"I first used this in Poland, when my very "clean" friend wanted to constantly clean his hands whenever touching a surface that didn't belong to him. It was after this that I realised the benefits it could have. The gel has a sort of watermelon-y smell to it and it dries very quickly. At about £1 for a 100ml bottle (which will last a fair while, depending on how often you use it) it isn't too bad, really. A 100 ml container will also be able to ..." Read review

Sanitized Hands - No fuss

Advantagesquick drying, lasts for ages,

Disadvantagesnone

"Over recent years, there seems to have been an explosion of hand hygiene gels on the market and they seem to be stocked pretty much anywhere you look. Outbreaks of cold and flu, particularly swine flu, must have helped boost profits in this industry substantially. Several years ago, when I was looking for a hand gel product of this type, to take on holiday with me to clean hands before eating (particularly for picnics), I remember that there wasn't ..." Kill those germs!!

AdvantagesA great hand sanitizer

DisadvantagesNone

"So I'm going to start this review by saying that I am a hand hygiene fanatic, as I never go anywhere without hand gel or hand wipes. I started a couple of years ago when I become aware of the fact of how easy germs are spread. This hand gel is 100ml and this, I think, is quite a reasonably sized bottle. Each time I buy one of these it seems to last me a good while, but I suppose really it depends on how much you use your hand gel. On the bottle ..." Read review

On the go Review with images

Advantagescleans hands quickly on the go, easy to use, convenient, affordable

Disadvantagesfeels a bit sticky at first

"==On the go== Today I am going to tell you all about the Hand Hygiene Gel by '''Citucura'''. ===Shopper's appeal=== I bought this hand hygiene gel quite a while ago when I was in London. I am liver-transplanted, so I have to stay safe from germs. I tend to touch my face a lot with my hands a lot - it's just something that I do, but as I am aware of it I can counter-act by using anti-bacterial products often. That is especially important when I ..." Read review

Keep them germs away!!

AdvantagesKills 99.9% of germs

DisadvantagesSmells

"I have always been very concious of hygiene to the extent were sadly I have suffered from OCD. This was fine when I worked for myself in my own office, but when I moved to employment in a large company with hundreds of staff I always knew it was going to be an issue. My employment in this large office would begin around 2001. On the first day I was told I would be hot swapping desks with others. This meant keyboards, mouses, working services etc. ..." Read review

Cuticura Hand Hygiene Gel

AdvantagesSmall, economical, kills 99.9% of germs, convenient

DisadvantagesBy following day, very sore, red patches on back of hands

"Cuticura Original Hand hygiene gel - great idea, but beware if you have sensitive skin I bought a 100ml bottle of this to keep in my car, as I wanted to be able to make sure my hands were clean and germ-free when eating my lunch between peripatetic appointments in a hectic working day. It is a small and convenient bottle and is easy and quick to use and, as the bottle says, it isn't sticky and takes only seconds to dry. As you only need a small ..." Read review

An Alternative To Hand Washing When On The Go.

AdvantagesReasonable Price, Long Lasting, Seems To Work.

DisadvantagesNot Actually Sure If It Works?

"...possible. A 100ml bottle of Cuticura Original Hand Hygiene Gel is available from Tesco stores or www.tesco.co.uk for around £1.00 and I would say I get in excess of 50 'servings' per bottle. The bottle is made of clear plastic with a flip top lid. It's a very simple product to use: wash your hands, dry them on paper towels or a clean towel and then apply some of this. Rub it all over your hands (front and back), in between your fingers etc and ..." Read review
