I have bought and read comics for many years now. My interest has always been in the more fantastical elements of the comics. Stories which couldn't happen in the real world, but still examine an aspect of humanity through a science-fiction lens. I have also enjoyed the various art styles over the years. Some of the work (particularly the work of Alex Ross on Batman) is truly stunning. DC certainly offers comics to meet my requirements, however if the superhero comic (by which I mean heroes with powers rather than the more gritty Batman line) is more to your taste then this is offered too ...
