Mr F and I visited DFS after several months of nagging, by myself concerning the purchase of a new suite. We have had our old suite going on seven years now and after many hours of torment unleashed by Charlotte it was looking decidedly worn! There seem to be new DFS stores popping up all over the place, along with plenty of advertising in the National press we decided to pay a visit. However, despite all this praise, I do have one problem: We were told the suite could take 12 weeks, when my partner asked 'what if it doesn't arrive within that time' the assistant said, to cover his back, he would write 14 weeks on the receipt! So, we went home and started the waiting. 12 weeks came and it still hadn't arrived, so we started phoning, this is where the staff proved unhelpful - they couldn't ...
...Perhaps not worth the money after all. I now think you're better off going into a less well known, smaller furniture retailer and buying a suite for about £500. It probably won't be ruined much before a DFS suite and it's not so gutting to have to replace! ...

It keeps its shape well and always bounces back to the origional shape even after 4 years. I bought this set about 4 years ago, its cream leather and it also came with a footstool. ...The World Store. When DFS were introduced into the battle of the furniture stores, they may've looked quite promising. Perhaps people thought, "Wow, these guys might be better than Courts!" But then, people saw the adverts. These adverts were bad enough to make people throw up. Literally. One adverts had these 2 annoying 'presenter' type people, to introduce DFS. Then they showed pictures of their 'beautiful' sofas, and all of them were at 'amazing' ...
