...it would be delivered by DHL on Monday morning. He had the tracking number and checked on Monday that it was indeed out on the van to be delivered. He stayed in waiting for the parcel to arrive. I have been using DHL since the last five years and regularly send documents overseas with them. I also receive about three to four packets through them weekly. I have never ever experienced any problems with them. In fact once you have the DHL Airwaybill number you can go to their website yourself and do a tracking on the particular Airwaybill, wether you are the sender or receiver. ...phone call at all from DHL to let me know they hadnt collected the items, and if the seller hadnt e-mailed me I wouldnt have known for days. I immediately called them again to ask why the driver refused to collect, and also to make sure my credit card wouldnt be charged for a service I never recieved. My experience of DHL is one of total incompetance, lazyness and rudeness. I had a parcel sent from Germany and unfortunately they didn't put the full house name on the parcel, still it had the rest of the address in full and the postcode... as we can't expect the driver to think for himself and call us on the contact number or go by the postcode (we are the ONLY house with that postcode) it was returned to the depot. Disadvantages: Pay money to have your precious things delivered to a new address, and then watch them disapear without a trace.

...used big named companies like DHL to transport goods. Also when I called and emailed before booking someone actually answered I thought that was a good sign-well it was to be the last good sign of the whole ordeal. ...a company as large as DHL to have a 1571 answer service, so I was a bit reluctant to leave a message. No problem I thought, Omega Express will try and deliver again because they try three times. If on the third time there is still no-one to receive the package they hold onto it for a week then return it to sender if it is not claimed. ...customer services. I remember when DHL was the number one courier service reputable and excellent customer service. Nowadays its as if DHL and other couriers are employing ignorant, arrogant, egotistical, insolent morons in their customer services and drivers. Only royal mail have managed to promise what they deliver unfortunately for larger parcels the CityLinks and DHLs are chosen because of their lower costs. I would gladly pay those extra few ... DHL couldnt find my address ? i have received parcels from parcelforce, tnt and citylink in the past yet DHL with their SatNavs and sophisticated systems. I wasted 3 days and about half an hour in total calling the supplier and courier i wont be getting my time or money wasted back. I paid for nextday delivery no success its not like i live in the sticks for goodness sake i live in a busy main road. I can only surmise the driver didnt know how ... Read review

...O2 and they arranged for DHL to deliver it to my work address on Monday. On tuesday I called up and they said they had tried to deliver it. I confirmed the address was correct and asked why it had been taken back to the depot. The woman at DHL said the reason box on her system was empty so she couldn't help and gave me the number for the depot to sort it out (surely she should have rang). Disadvantages: Slow, inefficient, no internal communication etc etc.

...say with some confidence that DHL are the worst I have personally found. Most couriers can find my house and even when I search for my house on Google maps I have no problems seeing it, however DHL seem unable to find it for some reason. At one point I was even speaking to the depot with the guy their on another phone to the driver who swears he was knocking at my door.
