Advantages: There not all bad some good couriers & customer service staff
Disadvantages: Some couriers too lazy for their own good!

Advantages: 100% reliable and the cheapest service to the USA

DHL Courier is my first choice

Advantages: Fast delivery, tracking facility
Disadvantages: Slightly more expensive than others

I have been using DHL since the last five years and regularly send documents overseas with them. I also receive about three to four packets through them weekly. I have never ever experienced any problems with them. In fact once you have the DHL Airwaybill number you can go to their website yourself and do a tracking on the particular Airwaybill, wether you are the sender or receiver. The tracking provides all the information such as: 1) Date ...

Advantages: A well reputed company who claim to deliver quickly
Disadvantages: Basic lack of communication led to non-collection and very poor customer service

My experience of DHL is one of total incompetance, lazyness and rudeness. I had a parcel sent from Germany and unfortunately they didn't put the full house name on the parcel, still it had the rest of the address in full and the postcode... as we can't expect the driver to think for himself and call us on the contact number or go by the postcode (we are the ONLY house with that postcode) it was returned to the depot. Still waiting for my parcel after second attempt of delivery

Advantages: The online tracking helps by letting you know where your package is.
Disadvantages: Online abbreviations do not help I had to ask google what they meant .

DHL - How DHL lost 19 boxes

Advantages: As friends have told me think of what people lost in the holocaust.
Disadvantages: Pay money to have your precious things delivered to a new address, and then watch them disapear without a trace.

I am dumfounded and astonished at this companies 'couldn't care less attitude' in relation to customer queries in relation to delivery. i missed the delivery of a package from Carphone Warehouse, I phoned the mobile number as instructed on the front of the delivery note approximately 4 hours before the closing time, no one returned my call despite leaving the relevent information as advised by the voicemail instruction. I phoned the next morning ...
