My wattson arrived with everything in it, including batteries for the transmitter. A quick glance at the how-to guide got me straight to the installation, which was simple even though my meter is located outside my flat. The bright red clip fits round on of the wires from my meter (there are two on mine). Plugs into the transmitter with batteries in. And when i switched on the display unit then it immediately showed me my electricity usage. The display unit shows my usage in Watts and Pounds which you can alternate with by a cute tilt switch.
