...shops. An easy to use website DVD.co.uk is very useful for some of the more obscure titles...... as well as the well known of course..... that you may be searching for. Cutting out the middle man allows titles to be cheaper than in the high streets and waiting 2 days isnt really that long especially since you probably won't watch it straight away anyway. DVD.co.uk is just now a small business, but they should come up soon enough. I have ordered 4 or 5 items from them and all have been delivered within 6 days, which is quite slow compared to 3 days for play.com and 3-4 days for amazon.co.uk, however delivery is Free and alot of items from dvd.co.uk are cheaper than they are on amazon or play. I have had an awful experience with this store, would never use them again and would recommend others to avoid if possible. I ordered a mixed bag of DVDs and electronic items. The electronic items arrived speedily and without a hitch (so far so good I thought). However, none of the DVDs arrived and so I had to follow up and use the 'missing items' procedure. I thought this would work OK but I received 25% of the DVDs ordered and have since been given the run around and have been very shabbily treated by the "Customer Services" people. I now have to go via my credit card company to cancel part of the payment etc. Online shopping really shouldn't be like this!

Around 1 week ago, 4CheapCDs mis-priced a lot of MVM anime DVD's at £1 and DVD.co.uk also mis-priced most of those DVD's at £1.95. I ordered most, double ordering from both stores in case one cancelled. While 4CheapCDs cancelled everything, DVD.co.uk sent all 23 DVD's, splitting my order into 5 parcels. All were sealed and only 1 was damaged (DVD holder smashed). What more can you ask for? Excellent and honourable service.

Very bad service. They claim that the item is in stock & send you a confirmation e-mail. This is not the case!! I have contacted customer services & they just ignore you., I would not recommend this company to anyone unless you are willing to wait and be ignored! They are cheap for a reason, stick with Amazon or Play.com!

I came across the website by chance over a year ago and was very impressed by the low prices. Found a few titles that were loads cheaper than in my loacl shops, but there had to be a catch I thought. ie the post and packing would be extortionate. This was not the case there is no charge at all for goods shipped within the UK, they arrived within a couple of days in very secure packaging. Disadvantages: Items under £18 are shipped from Jersey and may be subject to additional charges for import duties and taxes which can give you unexpected expenses.

...Guy - season 3" from dvd.co.uk (price 9.99£) and it got shipped the same day. A few days later I got it. No problems there. I live in Denmark and I was a bit worried how long it would be on its way... I had no problems whatsoever... So I did not contact them at any time. The total shipping costs were 1.00£ and that is pretty cheap considering I live in Denmark. Could have been a lot worse. And of course I got the DVD a lot cheaper than I would ... Read review

...havent received it, and that dvd.co.uk need to file a compensation claim. Dvd.co.uk will not send a replacement or issue me with a refund, and they are not answering my emails. You may also notice that there is no contact telephone number on their website. Be very very wary if you do order - its fair to say they ripped me off. I have paid £45 for nothing. ...in the shops i found dvd.co.uk to be very cheap indeed & way ahead of the other competition in terms of value for this dvd. They provided a good delivery, a good product, and good communication in terms of Emails sent confirming order and delivery, so ive price checked a few other items i want to buy as xmas gifts & again this site provides excellent value for money. I am a member of DVD's anonymous I cannot help it, I like to buy DVD's, especially the box sets. I have bought what seems to be a truckfull and the delivery driver knows me by name, but my poor husband tends to have a heart attack when he sees how much I have spent on them.
