...and after 2 emails with D-Link they did not reply any more to me avoiding the problem.
So, I sent it back to Amazon and asked for a full refund - not Amazon fault and thinking that it was at 'only' £. 24.99 and no postage, that should have been a warning !
I hope for D-Link sake, it was only mine faulty and it is not a normal way or working for this modem.
