Advantages: Cheap, spec is comprehensive, web management works Disadvantages: drops connection too often, awkward to upgrade firmware, annoying whine
I bought this kit (along with an included DWL G122 USB dongle; see my separate review) as a package from Ebuyer mid 2005 for £58. I had read all of the reviews I could reasdily lay my hands on and thought it was a bargain at this price and to a degree it is. However...

We have had this product for three years and it has never given any cause for concern. It is on 24/7 and apart from the occasional reset by removing the power plug for a few moments when there are telephone line problems - repairs and upgrades, nothing else is required of it. We have six computers some cabled and some wireless. I highly recommend it.

The router does fall over from time to time but is generally reliable and is adaptable with different security options. Has been OK in my semi-detached house but some dead zones with limited range when router is not in the middle of the house.
Overall - its been good for the money I paid for it.

The router comes with everything you need including a network cable and line filter.
All I needed to do was enter my ISP username and password in the boxes provided and it did everything else. I was up and running within 20 minutes!
Being able to carry my laptop around the house and ...
