There's not much to say about video recorders these day as so many people already have one, the standard features are well known to most people. This model is quite impressive with on-screen timer programming via the remote control. Program recording is very straightforward once you’ve had a quick look through the accompanying instruction manual and ... ...a VCR these days? The Daewoo ST862P fits the bill. * Many people suggest emigrating to a recordable DVD recorder but what to do with all those video tapes? Recordable DVD's are still 3 to 4 times the price of a VCR like this one! ...

Advantages: simple, cheap, durable, 6 heads Disadvantages: none at this price
Who has video recorders these days? Well some of us still do for various reasons, one of which being to transfer video to DVD and i use this model. I bought it several years ago because it was cheap. and because i didn't want to spend a lot of money on technology that was rapidly going out of date. and i have been pleasantly surprised. i didn't expect a lot from it but it's recording and playback quality is surprisingly good. My previous model was ... ...This one has 6 (despite what the product information says. Definitely 6.
It has 1 scart on the back and standard AV in/out on the front and i can use either of these to connect to either a DV camcorder or DVD recorder, thereby transferring old VHS recordings to Digital media DVD's for straight transfer and Camcorder for later transferring to my PC for editing. Note your camcorder would have to have AV in function and connections.

expensive original remote. Our direct replacements are electronically identical to the original and provide all the same functionality at a fraction of the price.
