Advantages Advantages Odd but nice combination. tastes great and very filling.

Disadvantages Disadvantages A bit chewy and may stick in your teeth.

Who isn’t aware of Cadbury chocolate and their varieties? We have almost all tasted and eaten this chocolate for many decades and we still do . . . even though it has transformed a lot recently; some varieties have been discontinued, others have been brought back or enhanced and some are completely innovative new varieties! One of these creations in the “new chocolate generation” is Cadbury’s Dairy Milk Apricot Crumble Crunch. Another one is Cranberry and Granola, which I’m going to evaluate now. Cadbury’s Dairy Milk with Cranberry and Granola Most of us know the traditional Cadbury’s dairy ... more

Advantages Advantages Very delicious, superb taste of sweet cranberries.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Bit rubbery feeling in mouth, price can be cheaper.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION I am a huge fan of chocolates, I absolutely love them. They are sweet, delicious and make me feel happy and content, yay... :) I am especially addicted to Cadbury’s dairy milk chocolates . The reason is simple and straightforward, because their chocolates and bars are simply delicious and always maintain the top quality. Birmingham-born John Cadbury (1801-1889) founded one of the most famous and well-recognized chocolate company in the world named Cadbury and later was renamed as Cadbury PLC. The main factory for Cadbury is situated in Birmingham. BRAND NAME AND PRODUCTS ... more

Advantages Advantages Better than the normal Dairy Milk

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not better than the Fruit and Nut

As Dairy Milks go, they are a bit of an overlooked chocolate bar for me. I tend to not eat chocolate too much anyway, since I am uber conscious of the calories a bar contains. When I do go for chocolate, I prefer things like the dark chocolate Bounty or Mint Munchies, something with some really nice flavour. Since it is POW and I noticed it randomly sat on a shelf in Boots this morning as I got myself a Pepsi Max, I thought I would give it a go. I quite like the Dairy Milk Fruit and Nut, and thought, maybe it will be a bit like that. So, for 56p I got myself a small (49g) bar. The packaging is ... more

Advantages Advantages An unusual and delicious combination.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Another excuse to eat chocolate!

As you may have gathered I am a bit of a sweet fanatic, especially the chocolate variety. Of course first in line will always be good old Cadbury, hence this review! The product I will now review is “Dairy milk, with cranberry and granola”. The first thing that attracted me to this product was the price, Asda are running an offer on the 200g bars, £1.00 each… sold! Unusually for me, I didn’t buy the normal dairy milk, with nothing added, instead opting for this one, I can only assume the reason for this is the fact the packaging is a nice colour! The foil outer pack is quite distinctive in ... more

Advantages Advantages The granola worked well

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not fruity tasting enough

After seeing this on the shelves a while back I have been dying to give it a try but at £1.54 for 200g (30g lighter than a normal Cadbury's bar) I kept giving it a miss as it as I felt it was too expensive. Last night was 'Munchies' night in our house so we took a little trip down Sainsburys and I was delighted to see that they were on offer for just £1 a bar. I picked up one and couldn't wait to get home and try it. The packaging. It looks a lot classier than the average bar and has a matt finish to the wrapper. On either side is a deep red colour and in the niddle is the normal deep purple ... more

Advantages Advantages Good for chocoholics, Crunchy treat, light and crispy taste.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Gets stuck in your teeth, wouldn't appeal to everyone, contains E numbers

I am a chocoholic though I am not proud of the fact. I am actually trying to cut down on chocolate but, once you are a chocoholic you find it difficult to stop eating them. These chocolate bars taste just like the kind of Dairy Milk chocolate you would normally expect though they have a twist. These chocolate bars contain dried cranberries and granola as well. The chunks of chocolate are very thick and tasty. Each piece is a treat to eat and whilst this isn't my favourite chocolate bar it fulfils my need for chocolate. Crammed into each piece of the chocolate bar are large, red cranberries and ... more

Advantages Advantages I'll probably receive a lot of comments about this review.

Disadvantages Disadvantages The comments and I'm sure the rates are going to be bad. Ho hum.

So it’s about time I jumped on the money bandwagon and wrote a review for the product of the week and beings as the product of the week is Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate with Cranberry and Granola, not only will I be losing my product of the week virginity but also my Cranberry and Granola virginity too. So here’s to killing two birds with one stone! Cadbury’s the people who make it OK so the chocolate is made by Cadburys and to be honest I don’t really care about their history and since it’s the chocolate bar I’m talking about and not the company I guess I’ll leave that for another review ... more

HISTORY More than 250 million Dairy Milks are produced every year in 12 different varieties (currently, Cadbury’s are forever changing, adding or removing lines). They are sold in 33 countries including Thailand, South Africa and Canada. The first reference to chocolate was from the Aztecs way back in the 14th century. Five hundred years later in 1824 John Cadbury opened his first store in Birmingham and began manufacturing in 1831. Dairy Milk itself was released in 1905 and soon reached the dizzying heights of fame we know it for today. There is even a Facebook page devoted to Cadbury’s and a ... more

    Disadvantages Disadvantages too much sugar

Well you know what they say a little bit of what you fancy does you good and in these stressful financial meltdown times I need a bit of comfort and this a a good cheap way to get it I was really please to see this new version as cadbury did do a while back a similar bar. This is one of the best cadburys bar I have tried . This is a 200g bar were the chunks are thick and it is a real treat and good value for money at £1 from most supermarkets. . The bar is filled with big, red cranberries and little pieces of crunchy granola.. It looks very pretty and tempting The cranberries give a soft chewy ... more

Advantages Advantages Thick, good ingredients, tasty!

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Ummmm?

Introduction Firstly, I love chocolate! So expect this review to be a little bit biased in the chocolates favor! Also i would like to say that all those people that fill their chocolate reviews with 'Its bad for you' 'has lots of sugar' 'E numbers' lets be honest here! Its chocolate--- every single bar in the whole world is not the greatest for you! Rant over lol... The Bar The item in question is 'Dairy Milk with Cranberry and Granola' This is a special release by Cadbury's and a welcome one! This and the Apricot Crunch bar are being released in order to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the ... more
