...The commentary when you are dancing can also get annoying, with the commentator making snide comments if you mess up (which you tend to do more often as soon as these comments pop out of your speakers) and encouraging, strange comments when you're doing well. After having had my dance mat for around a year, I can now mostly predict what the commentator is going to say, if I play on an easy mode. Mostly it would consist of "Wow, you are too COOL!" ...

To play this game you have to buy the dance mat for the playstation otherwise its just pointless. The game has various tracks of different difficulties and the aim of the game is to step on the arrows of the dance mat as as corresponding arrows move up the screen. Although most of the songs that you can dance to are Konami originals made for the game there are a couple of decent ones such as video killed the radio star, I will survive and word up ...
...game can be played in two player mode although you have to have two dancemats, its a lot easier (and cheaper) to just bring your mates round and take it in turns. The game itself costs around 20 quid and the mat is about the same so your looking at forty quid all together but some shops do offers that include both. My sister and I first discovered this type of game in the arcades down in Devon, on holiday a few years ago. I was well chuffed when i bought my very own dancing stage euromix, and even more chuffed when i mastered the complicated sequences.
