Advantages: Fun concept, good graphics and a good spin on the same old story line Disadvantages: The same old storyline and a challenge to learn the controls (or to make them work for me)
I just purchase De Blob last weekend and will be the first to admit that I am absolutely hooked. What a great concet and a fabby game! Graphics: 7/10 Very nice - at fist everything looks very plain but after a few minutes of rolling around and painting stuff it looks much better. Very much basic colours though. Gameplay/Controls: 7/10 I will admit that I did have a bot of trouble trying to get de blob to do what I wanted it to do but we got there ... ...an effective way to control de blob so I have not penalised too much in this area - perhaps I will feel differently if I clock up a few more hours and still cant control the thing very well. Storyline: 8/10 Something a bit different for the wii but similar to all the other game platforms out there at the same time. I wanted this game when I first seen it advertise and I got a nice suprise when my friend bought me it.
~ About the Game ~
This wii game is great for all ages , The aim of the game is to paint the town due to the inkies turning everything into black and white , you have to put colour back into the world , you collect paint pots and start painting the buildings. There are also challanges you have to complete so you can move on to the ... ...out!
There are 3 colours of paint pots , Yellow , Blue and Red - you have to use these to mix colours.
The wii control is used in different ways to make the blob move and jump around'
~ Graphics ~
I think that the graphics are not bad for a wii game it at all.
~ Disadvantages ~
you can't allways find the gate at the end of the level in time and you have to complete a full level to save anything.
~ thoughts~
