    Advantages Advantages Has anything you want from a survival horror game

    First thing that I want to say about this game, it's 17+ because of the violence level of this game is pretty high. There are lots of blood, gore, dead bodies and body parts throughout the game, so it is NOT for children to play, or those who are weak of heart, as there are also many unpleasant surprises in the game.     Dead Space is a futuristic survival-horror third-person shooter set on a spaceship infested with hideous alien creatures. Witht he exception of the superb Max Payne games and, to a lesser extent, both The Suffering and The Thing, I've never been a big fan of third-person games, with them feeling too 'arcade'y' and dumbed down to compete with the better First-person shooters out there, but like Max Payne, Dead Space is an exception to this rule.     Since the original resident evil, or silent hill, the horror genre has taken a backseat to FPS or RPG, therefore, most of the subsequent offerings have been sequels, or terrible... However, along came EA with Dead Space, and have, in my opinion, reignited the genre. You play as Isaac, a hapless engineer, on your way to a the Ishimara, a planet cracker (futuristic mining ship) after you intercept an SOS signal.     I love video games and to me there is nothing better than a good horror movie. With Dead Space you are able to get the best of both worlds - but not without compromise. Graphics 7.5/10 I gave the graphics on this an extra .5 for its sheer gore factor. I think i was about five minutes into the game when what was clearly and alien monster scared the wits out of me and had me heavy breathing as my player was running to get away. However with that said the graphics were somewhat disappointing in other areas - the characters looked very 'boxy' for lack of a better word. Gameplay/Controls 4/10 Very ... more

    Advantages Advantages you can feel the universe, the sound effects are great and the graphics are astonishing

    Since I am a die hard fan of computer games, I always try play tps games at the first place. The fact is I really like third person shooter games. And when I saw Dead Space's trailor, I was in the mood of playing it right then. But i waited till it came and finally I installed it on my medium rigged pc. The installation was pretty smooth and the way, the game started was kinda pretty awesome. I became sure that this game is going to rock for me.
