My recurring experience with Debenhams.co.uk is that they do not fulfill your order. Worst still, according to the CS (Customer Service) representative I just got off the phone with, they are quite unlikely to even tell you that your order will not be fulfilled; ever. She explained that in some circumstances they rely upon you phoning up to chase the order, in order to tell you the item is no longer in stock and will not be dispatched (even if it ...

Terrible customer service. Delivery took longer than they stated when I ordered. The clothes arrived in several parcels over several days instead of all at once. They lost one of the items I sent back and took 2 months to refund they money. You queue for ages to get through to the call centre. It takes 10 days to get a reply to an e-mail. The website by itself is quite good for the products layout and choice as well as the special offers section but I would certainly not recommend placing your orders on line. It could be a one off but I never received an aknowledgement for my order and my 2 e-mails have been left unreplied after a week. You can't track your order either. How fantastic is that? ...I'd certainly recommend using Debenhams.co.uk as there are often advantages of using the site as opposed to the store. There are often special offers online, and you avoid the hassle of High Street Shopping on a Saturday! There's a bigger selection of certain goods online (such as electrical appliances etc.), but you won't quite find all the clothes online that you'll find in store (although there's still a big selection). The catalogue side of Debenhams ...
