...my views on why the dell inspiron 1721 is a great all round laptop to buy if your looking for a laptop.
Firstly this laptop is a dell.
Dell are no boubt the biggest house hold name when it comes to pc and laptops, and how they have got this great title, is to simply give their customers great service. When you buy from dell you know that your getting a great built piece of equipment, with a great guarantee, and dell just gives you that extra piece ... ...an inspiron, this is what dell have focused on making in their laptop rage recently. The reason why there making so much models of the inspiron is simply because its so good. The inspiron looks great, and it performs great, as well as being sturdy and lasts a long time too. So it is a great laptop for anyone who wants something to put them through college, university, or doesn't have a lot of money to keep buying a new laptop every minute.

The great thing about dell laptops is that they all look so good. This ones no exception, and as dell are the leading company in desktops and laptops then you get the great laptop with the piece of mind that its going to be great and that if breaks you'll have great customer service too.
The only bad thing about dell is that you cant really buy them in shops, sure you can pick some up at pc world but if you want to get the best deals then you have ... ...The installed ram on this dell is 1 gb, this seems to be about the average a user would need in every day life, most people could probably cope with 512mb of ram however I would suggest getting a laptop with no less than 1 gb of ram, because it will get slower as it gets older and the 512mb would just turn the laptop into a snail.
This laptop also has a built in 120 gb hard drive, this is more then enough for me and would probably be enough for ...

Advantages: Quick and easy to use. Disadvantages: Mouse pad is a bit too plastic to touch.
I have found this to be an excellent all round lap top. Since purchasing it in January I have not had any problems at all. I opted for the pink cover and have been really impressed by the overall appearance - it looks much more expensive than it was. The speed is impressive and just like it says in the advert it does make an excellent desktop replacement. I also found it really easy to set up, not being a massive computer expert I was dreading getting ...

I am a student currently and this computer is great for all my needs. The keyboard is really great and has held up over the years, no broken keys or such. Another reason why i like this computer is that it keeps clean very well. I have not had to do any extensive cleaning over the years, it just doesn't attract any grime. The amount of memory on it is great, i will never be able to fill up all the memory space that it has. I haul my laptop everywhere ... ...been fine. I don't think that it is one of the most durable computers but it isn't fragile. The price in which i got my computer was a little much but overall worth the money. I would suggest this to most students who don't want to do a large amount of gaming. ...

I bought a dell inspiron 1721 laptop about 10 months ago, when we received it would not work so i phoned the support line, it turned out that the 2 hard drives had not been connected in and they sent out these screws to connect them in place. since then the computer kept going to a blue screen and then safe mode, it then has crashed beyond repair and we lost everything on it. It was sent for repair and 2 new hard drives were fitted, within a week ... ...who claimed it was a software problem and i would have to pay £60 to have it sorted. After 2 hours of arguing with them they eventually agreed to have a look at it and it turned out they had to replace both lots of RAM and a complete new mother board. It's been returned and still has the same problems DON'T BUY, CRAP....... ...
