    I have just been bought the dell mini 10 which is a compact web book. Now, until now I did not know a great deal to do with web books so my first thought was that it was cute and I was genuinely excited to get using it, however I noted that this product has not been reviewed so I did some research and had a look through some of what this dell has to offer and though I would offer a review on the item.     The Dell Inspiron Mini 10 is a netbook, and a fair one at that. This device is a small, customizable, well-built and fairly specced netbook. Sporting a 1.6GHz (essentially, the higher the better) Atom (the Intel high-efficiency processor solution), a gigabyte of RAM (again, the higher the better) and an Intel GMA 950 (practical for applications but not for gaming).     I have been using this web book for about a month now so thought I would offer a review, from my perspective as an amateur user. My husband (technohead) ordered my Inspiron mini 10 for me (non technohead) direct from Dell.com. It took about two weeks to arrive and cost £349 after we'd added some bits and pieces to it, although they start at £299. The standard colours it comes in are white and black, although there is an array of other colours that can be ordered, but you have to pay extra.     Disadvantages Disadvantages The trackpad can be difficult when u try the click and drag operation due to it size

    Despite having two laptops at home, I bought this Mini 10 laptop as I wanted to bring it for my vacation. It is light,mobile and compact as I'm able to put it in my hand luggage during the flight. I don;t even bother to put it in the laptop casing provided. The keyboard just perfect for me as I'm able to chat with my online friends easily and even typing it much faster esp repling tons of emails! The screen can be seen clearly.Due to it light weight, it can be carried with one hand :) The Performance of this Mini is very impressive,not even a lagging compared to some high-speed computer.     I have been using this computer for about a month now, and I am fairly happy with it, I went for the Umbuntu operating system on it which is very fast, the one downside I found straight away is that when you did an update, (which is stated there was updates needed) the system just cam up with an error, so I typed the error into the internet and apparently a lot of people had the same problem, some nice chap had posted the answer on a forum which involved typing in some code, into the Linux based operating system and this did the trick.     The Mini10 is a lovely machine for web applictions, blogging, email, face book,MSN etc. Office apps such as word and excell run well. Video streaming worked perfectly well over a 3meg internet connection via the built in wireless. Media player works perfectly well also. Voip seems to be fine over the woreless too. In my opinion for the price this netbook is fantastic value for money and offers a perfectly robust and easy to use system for work and social networking on the move or at home.     I think this product is very special because when else offering similar products but great shape, these laptops are smaller, lighter with a special ability easy to carry around, very practical for our high mobility. data processing capabilities undoubtedly because this laptop has a RAM capacity of a fairly large, so the processing of data so quickly especially plus a large hard disk capacity was very supportive of our work compared with similar products I think this laptop has a very advantages .first time I will buy this product I doubts but after trying my doubt lost so should not hesitate ... more
