Dell Optiplex GX 520 PC

Advantages: Small, quiet, fast boot times
Disadvantages: Not for dedicated gamers

Mine is primarily used for writing software with Visual Studio and writing database code in MS SQL Server which affects millions of rows of data. Dell does it again a solid PC but no panache

Advantages: Reliable, Excellent Price, Top Quality, Easy to maintain / replace parts
Disadvantages: Not the fastest, no screen, boring - boring - boring

...three different modles - Dell OptiPlex GX520 Advanced MT Dell OptiPlex GX520 Essential DT Dell OptiPlex GX520 Advanced SF and are confused about the differences, the only difference is in the size / flexibility of the chasis - e.g. MT = Mini Tower DT = Desktop SF = Small Form factor On the inside they are all the same. The standard model has a Pentium 4 - 2.8GHz at its heart and comes with 1GB RAM and a 80GB hard disk. Keyboard is a standard ...
...but depending on what offers Dell has/had going at the time of purchase, you may well be able to get a 160GB hard disk and 2 GB RAM thrown in free of charge.
