...just purchased six of these Dell UtraSharp flat screen monitors, and I must say that I am very pleased with the purchase.
First of all, let me say that I do not use them all at once. Iam not that good. I manage a small specialist planning team within a manufacturing company, and I had a requirement to upgrade
existing 15" CRT monitors to something with a bigger viewing area, as a bigger viewing area is easier on the eyes when you are using large ... ...we eventually agreed on the Dell UtraSharp Midnight Gray 21" Flat Panel Momitor to give it its full title.
The monitors when they arrived were well packaged and it was mearly a matter of removing the old ones, plugging the new ones in,configuring them which was straight forward, and away you go.
The 21" viewing area is supurb compared to a CRT monitor. The image is crystal sharp and a real ease on the eyes and the amount of space it frees up on ...

Advantages: great design, ooozes quality, crisp display Disadvantages: none!
Well, the title sais it all, I loved this monitor so much that i bought a second and now have two of these badboys in dual screen mode.
I play allot of FPS games and image quality and response time are important to me. At 16ms, the dell2001FP is easily quick enough.
This monitor handles games like farcry and battlefiled 2, F.E.A.R, Half Life 2 no problems what so ever.
The colours are vibrant and sharp, there is zero ghosting in any games and ... ...nowadays
The monitor can be displayed in landscape and portrait modes and tilts and turns to almost every conceivable angle even up & down and with a solid base makes it even easier.
It also has a multitude of inputs - composite video
s-video
DVI & regular VGA
and a whopping 4 USB 2 inputs!
The max resolution is 1600 x 1200, I have mine on 1280 x 1024 which is perfect for me and at 20inches gives you plenty of screen space.
