...a waste of money. Dell has taught me a very valuable lesson on this. Now, I'm not here to assail anyone's loyalty or admonishment to the company but I definitely know now that you get what you pay for. The VOSTRO is a great tool for business and pleasure. Everything at the beginning started out great! My upload and download speeds were remarkable. The functionality was near perfect, and the ease of using the laptop really kept me hooked on it! However, ... ...impact the instrument, I had no idea that it would be so devistating. When the laptop crashed I thought, 'This is impossible, I've only had it 11 months!' I made sure that I was cleaning it, storing it properly, making sure that all of the anti - virus operations were in effect; everything checked out. Hi i own a dell vostro 1400 laptop .i m using this laptop for more than a year.my laptop configuration is 2gb ram and 120 gb hard disk with Microsoft windows vista home basic. It has nice look of a black horse "dazzling black".This laptop is one of the very compact of dell series.And based on the performance and speed its good.The prominent thing i admire in dell is their customer support.The laptop has additional features such as SPEECH RECOGNIZER,tracker ... ...processor.I also admit the hardware of this laptop is well built and tough too and touch pad is very sensitive and good for using unless like others which become faulty easily. The video and audio driver are updated to latest .DELL MEDIA HOME too is a added feature which i appreciate .I can assure u that this laptop can make u too fell easy with both cost and performance aspect.
