This Laptop is a good value for it's money's worth. Equipped with a Intel Duo chip going at 2.0 Ghz speed, this laptop also has the advantage of 1 Giga Ddram (expandable up to 4 Giga DDRAM), a large 17" screen, a 150 Gigabytes Samsung HDD (it is also equipped with internal space for an additional HDD). Advantages: Portable, good graphics and sound Disadvantages: overheating, bad quality, expensive
I bought a Vostro Dell Laptop, not that long ago, to do all my studies on. I soon found out that the memory was not what it was all cracked up to be. It lagged extremly badley and wouldn't stream videos. After switching on and loading my stuff onto it, I tried to use the bluetooth settings which Dell claimed to be on there and you could use straight away. Dissapointing. I found out that you have to buy, or download it as an extra and at a price. ... ...as I just didn't have the time to change the laptop. Months later...
The air vents supposedly to keep the laptop from over heating are placed on the bottom of the laptop. So when you place it on anything, it over heats and turns it's self off. This was making me more frustrated. Too add to everything, the battery pack over heats to a outragous level, and canno't be plugged into the laptop for more than 2 hours, or even that. I wouldn't reccomend ...
