Advantages: Great specs Disadvantages: It's a Dell, it has broken 6 times in 8 months
Like any other Dell product I have ever owned (god knows why I continue to puchase from them) this laptop has broken several times since it's purchase in January 2009. Mine came with 2.5ghz duo core, 4gb of ram, 300gb hdd, 17" screen, 5 USB ports, wireless card, Geforce 8800M graphics card. When it's running, it's sexy as hell. Fantastic specs for a laptop. When it's running, it runs very smoothly- I often even try to overload the system with a whole ... ...comes with this computer that Dell uses is crap. I just replaced yours with Samsung RAM, which they finally agreed to". Good stuff. The customer services departments were absolutely useless. They made me re-install Windows twice (for no reason) saying it was a software error and were in general rude and unhelpful. As per usual in my experience. Yes. This is a very expensive machine but it is well worth it. I bought it equipped with two 8700GT NVIDIA cards and it was well worth it. IT is able to play all of the games out at the moment with ease. But only when plugged into the wall which, is no easy matter with the massive brick of a changer. Advantages: games Disadvantages: No Blue ray disc, HD Video etc
A huge beast you can say for this laptop which is bascially made for Games which is what i feel. It has XPS logos which glows the touch pad which has red lights you can change the colors, It has a huge keyboard with lot of functions, 17 inch wide screen and plus it also has a 2 megapixel builtin webcam.
It is very highly priced, and it does give resoultion but which in turns make the icons small so you need to stress your eyes sometime to read, ... ...ray disc option, if you want it then you pay more for it, which is again asking for some more. It also not good for HD Videos.
It has Core 2 Duo T7500 and 2gb Memory which is enough for your work and 200gb hard disk space to store all your work, games & files etc. there is no nuilt in tuner card so you have to again pay for it to get it.
This machine is good for games but its not worth paying this money only for playing games when it does not have ...
