Advantages: 4 cooking slots, seperate browning dials, multiple functions Disadvantages: can struggle with larger sizes of bread
...a sigh of relief, the Delonghi has just saved your bacon (speaking from experience here!!). The final button is the reheat button. This is a well thought out function as occasionally you might get sidetracked whilst waiting for the toast to pop up. The last thing you want to do it to serve cold toast so the reheat button will but the warmth back into the toast without recooking and burning it. Finally, as far as the front of the toaster is concerned ... ...is one of these for each pair of toasting slots which means that you could have the left hand slots giving only a light toast with the right hand slots literally cremating the toast should you wish. Your settings are clearly displayed on the two analogue dials. Personally, I have found a setting between 3 and 4 (dial goes up to 6) gives a nice crisp piece of toast.
The back of the machine contains handles to release the crumb catching trays, these ...

The Delonghi sleek and sexy toaster.
My husband and I received this toaster for a housewarming present from my in-laws. (I believe it retials for about £40-£50.) We had just bought a new house so needed a nice new snazzy toaster. In fact the only reason in the beginning for selecting this Delonghi toaster was that we loved the way it looked. It has a very sleek and sexy design, it is curved at the front so looks very stylish and is a lovely gun-metal ... ...kitchen. The knobs on it are a nice silver colour so they blend in well with the rest of the toaster and it looks really good quality not like the usual plastic toasters. We also got the matching kettle to go with it.
In spite of just picking it for its look we ended up really liking this toaster. The best thing about it is that it has duel controls. There is space in the toaster for 4 pieces of toast. I like my toast quite light and my husband ...

Advantages: looks cool. 4 slots independenly controled in pairs Disadvantages: expensive, doesnt take a whole slice of bread lenghways
I treated us to this toaster when I redecorated our kitchen as a surprise while my wife was away. It looks exceptional with its matt gun metal paint finish which will apparently not show fingerprints. It has all the things you would expect from an expensive toaster such as • 4 toast slots, each pair operates independently
• Variable width bread slots • Stop/cancel button
• Frozen bread/re-heat settings
• 2 slide out crumb trays
• Non slip feet
... ...a self-centering system for even toasting and an extra 20 mm lift facility to make it easier to get out small things such as crumpets
So what was wrong?
It had a big scratch mark across the font, is quite heavy and very large yet despite its size it won’t take full size slice of bread about half an inch sticks out the top and is untoasted. I didn’t expect this or the scratch from such an expensive toaster (£54.95 from Argos) and was very disappointed ...

Advantages: The 2 different heat settings at one time! Disadvantages: I can't fit warburtons bread in whole, i have to rip the top crust off.
I got this toaster a few eeks ago and what a blessing! To be able to do lightly done toast for me and do my other halfs toast nearly at the same time is just pure brilliance. The little dials work spot on so what you ask for you actually get. The other options such as defrost and bagel I haven't actually used yet. I find the colour that i got (shiny black and chrome) looks very sleek and stylish in the kitchen and just wipes clean nicely. It even ... ...only downfall i've encountered with this toaster is that I can't fit in my choice of bread, which is i'm sure you've guessed warburtons. I received mine as a present but i think a lot of people would find it hard to pay between £60 and £80 for a toaster, even if it is wonderful. ...

Advantages: Being able to toast 4 slices at a time Disadvantages: None at the moment
This toaster is very stylish and does your toast to perfection. The great thing about this toaster is it has dual controls to determine how you toast is preffered. i.e. Light or Dark. This enables you to cook two lots of toast at the same time in two different ways. How cool is that. It also has two lots of controls to set each side to defrost or reheat. The reheat button is very useful as how many times have you put your toast in gone and done something ...
