    Advantages Advantages Keeps you cool, cheap to run on of the best environmentally

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Still emits c02, adds to overall power drain, needs a pipe outside

    Being at the start of a heat wave a few weeks ago we decided to invest in an air-conditioning unit. This would be predominantly for our kitchen, living room and conservatory. As it was mobile we though it would be a good purchase and it was although it was a little tied as to where we could place it in a room. One it has water in it and to has a waste pip that needs to go outside. I know we should be thinking green and environmental but the heat as you probably well know at the moment in the UK is bad as warm as the canary islands at its warmest.     Advantages Advantages Easy to move around rooms and easy to use

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Some people find it too noisey but I don't mind

    I bought this primarily for the Bathroom as I don't have an extractor fan and I though this would be a good idea to remove the excess water. Yes I know you arent meant to use in a bathroom, but the plug is out in the hall so it's fairley safe! Good features such as an automatic switch off if you forget to switch it off, so at lease you know it won't overflow. Also it has a clear front cover so you can see then it is almost full so you can empty it before it fills up. I think that you can link it via a hose to allow the water to fully drain out so there is no need to empty as it does this via ... more
