Advantages: Makes the coffee pretty quickly, and keeps it hot, and the looks are good.
Disadvantages: Jug leaks, price

Have had this coffee machine for about 18 months now, and as the last reviewer said, the lid of my jug came off after only a few days. Never been near a dishwasher but was unable to get it replaced by De Longhi. ...- same again. Thought I'd ring DeLonghi - 'not covered for glass jug - would you like to buy another?' Reply - 'think it's a bad batch of jugs - somebody may be scalded - had this one one day, previous machine a couple of days'. Explained I'm not trying to claim under guarantee but for a machine not fit for purpose. Got nowhere - took it back to John Lewis. They offered refund or replacement.
