Got this sat nav as an early Christmas present for myself because so many people have said good things about it. I must say it's exceeded all my expectations. It is not your average sat nav system as it's a very high-tech device but very easy to use. Unlike the gentleman in the other review I found it to be very easy to install the speed cameras, you just have to click one button!! I agree, Grundig nav100 is definitely far better than any tomtom!! Why is the tomtom so popular here anyway?? I have had nothing but problems with my tomtom… All this is going to change when this little beauty is available in the UK. Well actually you can get it now, I got mine from amazon UK for £399.99 but apparently it will be launched officially next year. The unique Delphi Grundig NAV 100, is the only GPS on the market which can synchronise itself with your Microsoft Outlook, this is an invaluable feature especially for a businessman or people who have many contacts. You just sync the Nav 100 with your Outlook contacts and then you can directly navigate to their address at the press of a button. My cousin in Germany first told me about this system, I bought one while I was out there. Apparently no one in Germany buys Tomtom, Garmin and all the other mainstream GPS systems because the NAV100 is the most accurate and easy to use GPS on the market. However it does come with a hefty price tag of 500 Euros or 360 British pounds!! but I suppose for that you get a German built quality product. Bought a Nav 100 from ebay and its been by far the best sat nav I have ever used. it comes with a full map of europe on cd and pre-installed maps on an sd card, full post code search, speed camera alerts can be added. I must say this has been by far the best sat nav I have ever had and I have been using them for the last 4 years. Its a great little gps, affordable and much more accurate than anything I owned previously. The Germans have done it again!! ...

Just about the best Christmas present ever. Where do I begin with the NAV100? the stylish looks? Easy to use and versatile layout? Outlook synchronization? Incredible battery life?.... I recently bought a Nav100 after reading the glowing reports from the previous reviews. I was convinced the Nav100 would be ideal. Sadly it was a let down. I travelled to a town 20 miles away and it lost the route completely. When I contacted Navteq for an up to date UK map I was informed that although they supply many makes they do not supply Nav100 directly and I would have to contact Grundig first. I did this and they told me that the current ...
...than that. It also does not come with camera alerts installed unlike a lot of other units available, so you have to do it yourself, which I found an absolute pain and not very easy. It is also very bulky unlike other slimmer makes available. It also came with a 2-pin continental plug, which means you have to buy an adaptor to charge it at home.
