...it be? This Denon unit is feature-packed to the extent that you don't really use them all. I am particularly pleased with the construction of this player and I expect it to last some time yet.
In summary, if you don't wish to blow all your money on replacing your non-HD DVDs with blueray but want excellent playback quality at mid-price then you can't do much better than this player. ...

This dvd player has won so many awards in What HiFi, that I had to demo it.
As soon as I saw it, I bought it. Fantastic quality with a HDMi output as well. Fully scaleable picture to 720 and 1080dpi. It was bought as part of a complete Home cinema a/v system, and fits in perfectly with everything that I have.
