...order is a product called Steradent Extra Strength Denture Tablets distributed by Reckitt and Colman Products in Hull. (They’re actually manufactured in Germany)
These tablets are round, slightly larger than a ten pence piece, and when immersed in hot water dissolve at a quite alarming rate and with great vigour.
The idea is that you get yourself a “denture bath”, and place your beloved nashers in the same every evening before ... ...filthy build up on your teeth, and the following morning they re-emerge from their overnight soaking restored to their original pristine condition, and ready to face yet another day of dreadful abuse.

Advantages: Leaves fresh minty taste in mouth Disadvantages: Takes approx. 15 mins to soak in morning
...on the use of the Steradent Tablets. I myself use these every day. They are an extremely good make and after an adequate soak in the morning, I find my Dentures feel much fresher and cleaner and there is certainly no 'nasty' taste left in the mouth except that of a Minty taste. I obviously go through the rest of the hygiene procedure necessary to clean my mouth, gums and obviously dentures first thing in the morning. But as with the Toothpaste, Mouthwash ... ...consequently very happy with the Steradent Tablets, and will carry on using them. I also hope that people with new Dentures, or about to have new Dentures fitted will feel happy about buying this particular product. I must also point out that these Steradent tablets do have different flavours on sale. I always buy the 'Fresh' one, which as I say, always leaves a nice, fresh, minty taste in my mouth and lasts for hours. ...

Advantages: none to my knowledge Disadvantages: burns tha mouth
I know that you're not supposed to eat the damn things, but I am unfortunate enough to have dentures... not of my choice you understand. The dentist told me one out--all out (just like the old Leyland!) Having to use denture cleaning tablets is a necessity for me, but i find it so irritating that dental companies can produce nice tasting mouthwash but cannot do the same for denture tablets. to most people this may sound a bit of a gripe.... but to ...
