Advantages Advantages Lightweight and makes my akin feel so smooth

Disadvantages Disadvantages Quite pricey, but well worth it to me

I have been a fan of Dermalogica products for quite some time after receiving some of their samples but I tried to resist purchasing them and managed to put it off for a while. I have combination skin and I struggle to find the right balance in products to still have moisture in my skin but yet preventing it from appearing too oily, however Dermalogica products seemed to promise to help me achieve this. ** DERMALOGICA ** Dermalogica were founded in 1986 in Los Angeles and they have since become an international brand that are recognised for their innovative skin care products. They have ... more

Advantages Advantages Really hydrating, great base for make up, lasts ages

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Cost

Dermalogica active moist is a moisturiser best used on skin with excess oil production. It is a light weight oil free lotion for daily us that combats dehydration. It is sheer, easy to apply and sinks in to the skin without a trace leaving it feelin really moisturised. It contains silk amino acids and plant extracts to help smooth skin and improve its texture. It also contains lemon, burdock and cucumber to help refine the skin. Dermalogica say that you should apply this lotion twice a day after cleansing and toning and this should be done using upward strokes. They then say for best results ... more

Advantages Advantages Lightweight, perfect for oily skin, lasts all day, muted and neutral scent.

Disadvantages Disadvantages A little pricey as with most Dermalogica products.

I have and always have had oily skin which has given me a constant battle against acne on my face and neck. In the past I have used many different treatments for oily skin and Dermalogica have provided me with many of them. I use Dermalogica as part of a daily regime and Dermalogica Active Moist is a moisturiser designed specifically for my skin type. The packaging is typically Dermalogica, and has the branding clearly stated down the front. This gives the product a slightly clinical look, although the product itself is certainly not like this at all. i think the way Dermalogica package their ... more

Advantages Advantages lovely smell, verry hyrdating and lightweight

Disadvantages Disadvantages have to use with other dermalogica products not so good on its own

dermalogica active moist is recommended for skin prone to oiliness and is a lightweight lotion which provides daily moisture protection to combat surface dehydration. It contains silk amino acids, and natural botanicals of lemon, cucumber and burdock with no artificial colour or fragrance. It comes in a slim white tube - i do hate pot moisturisers they seem so unhygienic so this was great in that respect and it really lasts for ages despite the steep prices dermalogica products do work out to be quite economical over a long period. Always get your skin mapped by a dermalogica professional ... more

    Advantages Advantages Great results

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Not cheap

After writing a rather negative review on an expensive cosmetic product I thought I would balance it out with a positive one on a product that costs a whopping £28.99 for a 100ml bottle and in some places I have seen it priced at over the £30 mark. You can buy a smaller 50ml one however at around the £20 mark you pay a higher price per ml. This is a super moisturiser from Dermalogica, it is very effective at re-hydrating my skin after a long day at work. It is also made from natural products as it is part of the Dermalogica range and contains such things as Cucumber and lavender as well as ... more

Advantages Advantages Easily spreads into skin, Lasts a good length of time, lightweight feel.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Expensive, will not suit all skin types.

This moisturiser is wonderful. A small amount (about the size of a 5 pence piece) is all you need to cover the whole of your face and neck so despite it being quite expensive it lasts a good length of the time - you do not need to use huge quantities because of the high quality of the moisturiser. It spreads easily and leaves the skin feeling soft and silky without the greasy feeling that often accompanies some moisturisers. I am a strong believer that good moisturiser is a must and this is one of my favourites. It is however particularly suited to younger normal skin. Dry skin should probably ... more
