...quite disappointed with my last Dermalogica face masque, I did feel rather pessimistic about whether the Dermalogica Skin Refining Masque would be any better, but decided to give it a go anyway.
The tube comes packaged in a sliver-grey box with information about the product printed on it. The tube itself is white with a grey flip-top lid. The lid is easy to open and fastens securely. All information on the tube is printed in grey. The front shows ... ...week and followed with a Dermalogica moisturiser.
The masque itself is just slightly off-white in colour and quite thick textured, though not as thick as most clay-based masks I've used. The texture is smooth and creamy enough to spread easily over the skin, meaning that the thin layer suggested in the directions is easily achievable, and as a result, you don't need to use much.
Once the masque begins to set you can feel the skin starting to tighten ...

...I came along dermalogica some time ago but haven't tried the masques before, I came across a sample of skin refining masque on a particularly bad skin day (my skin is unpredictable it can be clean and clear for weeks and the next day it will break out, and it takes impossible amount of time to get it all back under control)
so I thought I tried everything else and it can't do any more harm. As soon as I put it on I felt a sort of tingling, my skin ... ...work or even make matters worse it is not such a huge price to pay, works out cheaper and you will feel a lot better after you see the benefits. Plus you could always ask for a sample at the dermalogica outlets you can find the addresses on dermalogica website. ...

Advantages: does what it says on the tin Disadvantages: more expensive than regular skin care
This is a clay-based mask for oily/combination skin. Works really well if you wanna deep-cleanse the skin a couple of times a week. The mask itself has a greenish-blue colour to it and doesn't have a strong smell. Dries in about 15 minutes. I usually put it on before I'm about to have a shower because I found it a bit difficult to wash off over the sink. I wouldn't recommend it to people with dry skin, cos I noticed that it tends to matify my oily ... ...with spots or acne so don't really know whether it would help with those. However if I don't take the make-up off thoroughly, the next morning I'll find one or two spots. This mask seems to clear them out in a couple of days.
