I am writing a review on the product Diet Pepsi. Nutritional Details: Energy = 0.8 KJ Protein = 0g Carbs = 0g Fat = 0g Fibre = 0g Sodium = Trace Calorie = 1 Sugar = 0g So far sounds good for all those keeping trim and low fat stuff The can: The can is designed with what looks like Pascal colours splashed across the can, with the Pepsi logo centred with the text Pepsi Diet under the logo. On the back it tells you the nutritional information aswell as the ingrediends and contact details. It informs you the calorie amount within and also the contents in ML.330. The price: It can be purchased from ... more

Advantages Advantages tastes good, cheap at the moment

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not as good as Coca Cola

Diet Pepsi As an avid coke drinker I like to call myself a bit of an expert when it comes to the taste and drinkability of coke type drinks. My favourite coke drink is actually Coca Cola and I prefer to by the boxes of the cans. Not only are they doing a long term promotion where you can collect Coke points and for this then exchange them for prizes but the cans themselves seem to keep the coke the right temperature and keep the fizz better than a large plastic bottle. This said drinking cans at home often works out far more expensive per glass than drinking the coke out of a bottle and ... more

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Far too gassy

Sometimes I NEED a drink, in fact I'd go so far as to say I can't live without a drink. There, I've said it, it's all out in the open now. That feels so much better. Of course in that respect I'm no different from anybody else, my body won't function without fluids. So when I get thirsty I like to have a drink. Anything will do, I'm not fussy. I prefer Irn Bru - Mrs P likes DIET PEPSI, but sometimes I feel adventurous and like a change. It's at these times I try to convince Mrs P that exchanging fluids would be a fun thing to do. Unfortunately it goes right over her head and she hands me a can ... more

    Advantages Advantages Tastes Good

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Not Healthy!!

I'm a definate addict of both Diet Coke and Diet Pepsi, but which is better? Personally, I prefer Pepsi. Pepsi has a much sweeter taste to it, and even though it's diet, it doesn't taste too artificial nor does it leave a nasty after taste like some diet drinks can. Pepsi has the same appearence of coke; a caramael brown liquid which is nice and fizzy. The packaging is also similar; it comes in the same forms as Coke does - 330ml cans, 500ml bottles, 1 litre bottles and 2 litre bottles. The design of the packaging is blue on the non diet products and silver on the diet. I love the cans of ... more

    Advantages Advantages Crisp, refreshing taste

Disadvantages Disadvantages Price when not on offer

Years ago I remember being in the Metro centre and there being a competition where you had to drink out of two cups of coke and decide which of the two was Coca Cola and which one was Pepsi, I wasn't able to pick out the right one and from then always thought they tasted the same. Over the last few months the supermarkets have been putting Pepsi on a £1 for a 2 litre bottle so I decided to pick that up instead of the usual Coke, a 2 litre bottle of Pepsi is usually £1.79 when not on offer which considering how long a bottle of pop lasts in my house I try not to pay full price. I always buy the ... more

Every single person I know, knows one thing for sure about me and that is that Pepsi is my favourite drink, Max, regular but most of all DIET Pepsi. Most of you will think this is because I am paranoid about weight issues, etc. Seriously though it isn't there is just something much nicer about the taste of Diet Pepsi. PepsiCo, Inc. was founded in 1965 through the merger of Pepsi-Cola and Frito-Lay. In 2001 Pepsi joined with Quaker Oats to create the world's fifth largest food and drink company. This is a bit of history on the company, not as old as Coca Cola. Some people say that Pepsi copy ... more

Advantages Advantages Thirst-quenching, refreshing, hardly any calories

Disadvantages Disadvantages Rather sweet and sugary tasting

I'm sat here at work and have just opened a can of diet pepsi- it's a warm day and the drink is straight out of the fridge. Pure magic! I love a freezing cold drink of diet pepsi-it hits the spot. Not as 'heavy' as fruit juice or as boring as water or as hot as a cuppa it seems there are some times when only a diet pepsi will do. ************************* I will start with a brief history of pepsi cola which goes back to 1893. Then, a pharmacist from North Carolina by the name of Caleb Bradham began experimenting with soft drink formulas. Customers sampled them at his Soda Fountain drugstore ... more

Advantages Advantages Great for a summer day

Disadvantages Disadvantages Don't add too much ice!

Diet Pepsi is a cool refreshing drink that does not have the bitter after taste that some diet drinks have. There is some debate about diet drinks and there is concern that aspartame (found in most diet drinks) can be harmful if consumed too much. That is one of the reasons that I limit how much of this drink I consume in a week. The drink in itself is a dark colour, it has a strong cola taste with a sweet aftertaste. It is a fizzy drink and has just about the right amount 'fizz' to make it an enjoyable drink, sometimes too much carbonated water makes the drink difficult to enjoy...Pepsi have ... more

Disadvantages Disadvantages None really except slightly too fizzy

I know so many people that would much prefer Coca Cola to Pepsi any day, however I feel different. Pepsi Diet is the calorie free alternative to regular Pepsi, but I may also note that the taste is COMPLETELY different to Pepsi Max. Pepsi Max has a higher yield of sweeteners which puts me off drinking it, so I stick to Pepsi Diet. Diet Pepsi has a slightly sweeter taste to Coca Cola which I absolutely love. Some people are put off by the sweeteners in Diet drinks, but I feel they have gone through enough proper testing and are fine to have in moderation. Pepsi has a caramel like taste and is ... more

    Advantages Advantages Negligible Calories

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Addictive

As the summer starts to approach and it has done so in a lovely hot sun, I start to increase my consumption of soft drinks and my favourite is Diet Pepsi. Let me tell you more about it and sorry in advance as I compare it with other Diet Cola's that I have tried but have always reverted back to the good old Pepsi. Being in the Diet range, it has very negligible amount of calories and hence that is great for us. I have had Diet Coca Cola, Asda Diet Coke and Diet Pepsi. If I have to give it a rating of 1 to 100 each, then Pepsi would get a cool 80+, Asda Diet Coke would be about 60 and Diet Coca ... more
