    Advantages Advantages High & Low Knobs, To Mixer Jack, Not too expensive, decent Battery Life

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Gets a little foggy with too much gain

    I purchased the Digitech Hot Head Distortion pedal used for $20 at Guitar Center. It was a great deal. It was my first distortion pedal. It has four knobs on it Gain, High, Low, and Level. Gain controls the amount of distortion on it which if it is totally down it is just a clean sound and if it is all the way up it gets a little foggy but it still provides a mild to hot tube amp distortion.The High and Low knobs are nice because it is almost like a rhythm treble sort of thing which is great for me I love it.
